Disney pin trader locator!!

Hi guys

i was thinking last night about putting up a disney pin trader locator.
i play a game called x-wing miniatures and in one of the sites we have a player locator, making it easier for us to find a tournament and such.

i recently found out that there are 2 people down the avenue that pin trade as well, it would have been awesome to know that sooner so we could have car pooled lol
I can use google maps to put up a direct link on here or something.

That why we use the city not the actual address. Just a general location

i voted ehhh...

while i think its a good idea for perhaps dpf, or people of a smaller group. unfortunately, there are those out there that might try to use the info in a negative way. instead what you might do is set up regional groups here that folks could become members of. then the regional groups could do what they wish with local addresses and meetups.

I think this is a good idea. Rather like a local chapter of a larger organization. Someone could be the representative for each chapter and keep track of the folks in their area. Maybe even bring new people and all their yummy pins to DPF. I've always wanted to attend a PTE, but I doubt we could drum up enough traders here in the Wasatch Front area. Maybe by combining with the Las Vegas traders or the Colorado traders, we could do it. Interesting to think about, anyway.

I don't understand your logic behind it being used in a negative way?

I was thinking about a general area not exact locations, we share our addresses in here left and right anyway, wether it's through a game, an auction, a purchase, a zap, or a trade.

I know that living in SoCal we know there are pin traders near us. But for people who aren't here I bet it's a little tougher for them to find another trader.

I like the chapter idea but the problem I see is that you'd have hundreds of them. Too many to keep track of, and if for some reason the main person stops logging on the forum what happens to the chapter?

I like the idea i mean it was awesome to meet pin traders in our area never thought there was any one that close maybe thete are more near the area itd be nice to car pull or meet up i think its a really neat idea
