I wondered if anyone here knew if there were any disney pin sellers at New York comic con? My other half is dragging me so I'm hoping I can pick up some disney goodness there
 
Don't know about the ComicCon...but there is a Disney Store in NYC Times Square and they did have some exclusive pins the last time I was there (fall 2011)

I went their last year and no pins :(. Just Disney books. They did have a neat on on Imagineering.
 
Ahhhh shame there are no pins there.

I've been Ito the NYC disney store a few times (we go most years) but they don't seem to ever have anything particularly great in there. Was much better when it was world of disney in 5th avenue

I agree! I could get Annual Passholder pins from both parks at the NYC WoD in addition to all of the other pins they had :sigh:
 
I haven't been in a couple of years, but when I was there last time there were no pins. Maybe you should cover your clothes all in pins and get things going! Like cosplay for pins. You'll be the talk of the Con. That way next year there's got to be pins!
 
Ah that makes me sad :-( pins show up so often at the UK ones I would have hoped the NYC one would have been the same. Oooooh wewell hope there are my little ponies there...
 
That I'm sure you will find...there was MLP:Friendship is Magic stuff ALL over last year.

But I will be there, I go every year!
 
I'll be there- I'm attending a wedding, and we just happen to be there that weekend! Probably won't be bringing any pins, though...

I'm praying they get Dylan O'Brien (or at least some of the Teen Wolf cast).
 
A little off topic, but does anyone know if the Person of Interest (CBS) cast is going to be there again this year? Didn't know they were there last year until after the fact. Anyway, can I bribe anyone into getting my Season 1 POI blu-ray set autographed by the cast??? I have great trader pins......

I go every year to NYCC and while I'm not sure if the cast will be there again (they are just starting to announce guests, the major shows and movies get announced in the summer and fall), if they are, I will most definitely take you up on your offer (you are right, you have REALLY good pins O____O). Because PoI is filmed in NYC, I would think it is very likely for them to be there, NYCC is growing bigger every year and network shows have a high tendency to show up ;)

New York Comic con is mostly a convention for video games, anime, and comics most importantly. In the past years I have gone, I have seen Disney pins on lanyards, but they were far and few between and they looked more like a fashion statement than enough to warrant a "pin trader" trying to trade pins. I would definitely recommend attending for the fun of it if you enjoy games, comics, or popular TV shows at all. They don't announce their best guests till a few months ahead of time but if I had to guess, I'd assume the Walking Dead cast will be there considering they've been there for the past few years :)
 
I love going to NYCC! I haven't ever really seen any Disney pins there, but it is a lot of fun. There's something for pretty much everybody there, usually.
