Disney Store Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion - 2017

Snow White saga continues....my doll came in, I think yesterday, and my friend finally texted pix. It was shipped double boxed. Inside the shipper box and then inside a larger box, Yay!


I went to check my credit card statement online and found TWO charges for the ONE doll....yup. TWO. The store called me to re-run the transaction, having voided the original transaction because they spelled my name incorrectly (they spelled it "SONG" instead of "FONG".) I was like, does it really make a difference? Yes, so it can be accurate for the credit card receipt. I'm like, okay as long as you void the first one and send me the receipt (which they sent via text). But the refund isn't showing up anywhere, not even in pending, just two charges. So, off to file a dispute for the original charge.


But, at least I have the doll! Well, it's still at my friend's house. I'm seeing her Saturday so I can get it then.

I didn’t find out about the new Snow White doll until she was sold out. When I looked her up on Saks I saw that I could put my email address and cell phone on a wait list which I did. On Monday the 30th I got a text that she was back in stock with a link and ordered her. I received an email confirming the order and that she would be shipped on November 26th. So anybody that didn’t get her should sign up for the waitlist it’s still available on there. I also got on Saks and keyed in my order number to confirm the order was good and no cancellation emails yet, but still crossing my fingers until the 26th
 

I ordered her online at about 7 or 8 a.m. the day of the release. Shipment was supposed to occur on 11/3. Then on Sunday, I got an email saying shipment was delayed to 11/26. I'm not so sure whether I will get here via online. That's why I ordered from the store, which apparently is all sold out now.
 
For those who are interested int he 17 inch Limited Edition Elena of Avalor doll, the release date is said to be November 21, 2017.

Just got the Saks Snow White today. It’s our first deluxe doll and so happy with her. Did everyone get her who wanted her?

So excited for Elena. Wish they did a Sofia with her. Or Descendants.

They went up 11/8. I was so shocked to see them also. I just went on Facebook and saw the link. I'm so torn on this one. I love these, but have already seriously over spent on dolls and there will be more coming out that I want this season, not to mention the added cost of holidays and 3 kid birthdays coming up. I can't see being able to squeeze these in.
 
They went up last month apparently. I guess this was put back up since others bought online sometime in October.
 
And now my online order has shipped for the Saks doll (I had also bought via phone order from a store)....but the weight is all wrong...FedEx says it weighs 2 pounds! This is going to a friend who collects dolls too
 
The original ship date was November 26, but I got my Saks Snow White doll yesterday packaged perfectly. She is gorgeous! The waitlist worked for me. I had another waitlist notice yesterday that she was back in stock but mine had already shipped and arrived 7 hours later.
 
Hi, new member who joined this site after reading this entire thread I love the discussion you guys have going on. All the encouragement and linking to helpful resources! I own the LE Jasmine, Snow Gear Anna, Frozen Fever Anna, Frozen Fever Elsa, Designer Elsa & Hans and made the stupid decision to pass on all Snow Whites released this year. Regretting my decision after seeing all these gorgeous photos!
 
I got an email that shipping was delayed to the 26th as well, then a few days later I got an email that I was charged and a few hours later a tracking email. So she’s not here yet.

Ditto! She is expected on 11/16. I've heard reports of her being sent out in her original shipper box only.

@Harleen : are you looking for any other dolls? You've done pretty good so far!
 
@Harleen Welcome! You have a pretty impressive collection (At lest to me, who doesn't own a single LE doll )

Agreed, mine is coming across country too. It looks like it is originating from TN. If it's beaten up, I will take it to the nearest Saks store to return it.
 
Received our Saks Snow White doll today! The doll was packed well - a box inside of another box.
