I still really want to know what they do with unsold boxes. We have 6 variants, of LE 500, which means they can sell 3,000 boxes a month. But the boxes haven't filled up. There's still space available to subscribe. So that means some variants could be rarer than others since we don't know the true distribution of the sets... So say they only sent out 2,000 Stitch boxes, what happens to the other 1,000???

Alright, when do we get to start speculating on the next set ? Because I just realized I wouldn't mind Toy Story with some sort of Little Green Men pin.....
 
Toy Story would be cute. I'm expecting Tangled at some point, but maybe not so soon. Maybe a ride-based set, like Pirates or Small World?

I was thinking maybe another princess pin, but then the Sleeping Beauty came out in 4.0. And no one really saw the Fantasia set. So I am thinking a Pixar or ride based set are possible.
 
I would REALLY like something rides/park based! I've said it before - The advertisement for the set said there would be all kinds of pins and all we have gotten so far is basically the same thing - an animated movie in a certain pin design style. While I have liked the pins, I would definitely like to see more variation in overall theme between the months. I was hoping it would be last month so that each quarter could have it's own broader theme but Fantasia marked set #4. Maybe they'll switch it 3 times a year instead of 4? There's always hope. Heck, I don't collect them at all but would even welcome Star Wars or Marvel just to change it up. Although not really. Come on, Parks! Daddy needs a new set of pins!

I would like that too! I went and took a break from the subscription for now (mainly because I bought two boxes of the sleeping beauty). I will probably re-up after the next cycle.
 

I think it's possible since the last version of this they did Bug Thunder Mountain one. I am wondering if it would be all rides, or three pins for three different rides.

However, I am thinking that we are due for some disney animals. So maybe a Bambi set ? I know a lot of people on here would love a Lion King set.

I think Winnie the Pooh could be cute or even some Chip and Dale.
 
I am a dead man. I finally decided to sign up for 3.0 after worrying about when the unobtainable (for me) Mulan set will come out and to have traders for them. Well, lucky me, as Adriene keating mentioned a few spots up on this page, the 3.0 is not available anymore. I looked in Shopdisney and also used the link at the beginning of this thread and nada. Going to have to practice my begging and groveling.
 
If it makes you feel better, I decided to skip the first set to save money. Figured alice would be this year but not the first set. And look what happened.....
 

I know I for one won't be keeping Mulan if it does happen. Pretty sure there are others in that boat too who would be glad to help out!
 
I think they could do several rides easily with the format they have now. I don't think there will be a great deal of change from their pattern. The middle pin would have a different scene from the ride while the end pins could have the color variation and stained glass pins. For example, Small World, Pirates, and Jungle Cruise are just a few.
 

I'd (obviously) like a Mulan set, but I don't think it's a given. Not unless Merlin says he wants one.
