Disney Storybook Classics Pin

Love the idea.. Think so many of the choices will bomb- very few collectors of Johnny Appleseed, reluctant dragon etc.

I don't collect any of these, but I do love the idea of a set based on the classic stories. And some of these have the potential to be really gorgeous (Marry Poppins and Reluctant Dragon, especially).

I'll have to get the Peter and the Wolf one for my mom. She used to play this on the clarinet.

I really like this idea too. I am a fan of the rarer stuff, and to have them in ornament and pin form would be nice. But I'm trying to cut back on my Disney purchases, not add to them.

Thank you for sharing. While I really like this pin, I'm not sure I want to start collecting them. I like a few of them in the collection, but not others. And as hopemax said, I'm also trying to reduce my $$ to the mouse...

Ahh, they did Snow White! Definitely adding this to my ISO, as well as Casey at the Bat (big baseball nerd here). I love this series.

Oh these are precious!!! <3 I've always loved "The Ugly Duckling" and "Peter and the Wolf"! I'm glad they're doing something rarer/off the beaten path. Though I'm sure several of these will stick around for a while. But I bet they'll all be lovely! Especially Mary Poppins. /nod Super cute idea! I hope they continue!

I like these! I ordered the Mickey and the Beanstalk one and I see a few others I will want.... I wonder how they would look displayed with the Timeless Tales pins. They seem like they're similar in size.

I collect the ornaments and just had to get the pin to complete the collection. i don't really collect pins but I am trying to start a collection. I guess that could be a start.

Oh, that would be cute! A hinged-book theme display could totally work.

Yes, yes. Become one of us. Mwahahahahahaha.

OKAY so I have a question I've been pondering over: the Disney website says that the pins and ornaments are Limited Release of 1000-1100. Do you think they made a mistake and put that instead of Limited Edition or no?

I was wondering the same but I think that it's partly due to the fact that they are part of a set of 12 pins and 12 ornaments. Disney has been advertising their sketchbook ornaments as limited release for three years now. To me limited release means they only have it up for a certain amount of time and then they take it away but some of the limited release ornaments have been kicking there for a few months.
