Disney Tsum Tsum
Not happy about this at all.
I was ok with them having exclusive versions of the fab five or Pooh's friends... But I am not ok with them releasing movie themed releases as exclusives to D23. Especially in the degrading and crappy manner that Disney did. If I knew four months ago and they would be releasing all of these exclusives I would have booked a ticket and attended the Expo. But they didn't announce until the first day.

Fantasia's set looks amazing and should have been kept off as a monthly release, but they did not and it's bothering me so much! Especially since I want Yensid and the mushroom!
As for the rumor of Pinocchio being tomorrow's set.... I really really hope it's not true... I really like Pinocchio and they are releasing the movie on Diamond Edition in February, so it makes no sense for them to release a D23 exclusive set.

I love what they do in Japan with the exclusives. They're variants of the fab 5 and pooh..

*peers at subscription* Hmm...I don't know what the difference is between small and mini. I though the mini tsums *were* the small tsums. And $25 for only two mini/small tsums? I get exclusives, but sheesh!

With the introduction of the Massive Tsum Tsum, they might have retooled the wording. The small monthly Tsums have always been called Mini. I think they might have decided to suddenly call the medium ones small.
OR they could be talking about vinyl figures, or did they specifically mention plushes?

First 2 box sets I saw on ebay went for $250: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FANTASIA-Ts...isney-Store-/301712806086?hash=item463f7c10c6

Personally I think that price is more than a little excessive. The Maihama Birthday set only went for around $200, and that had 15 tsums in a much nicer box.

And I agree with what aka.seim said before about the collections being made available to the public eventually. The wording of the D23 post confirms that only the boxes are exclusive but since we have all this other cool stuff (loose tsums, mediums, larges) I think we can be pretty confident that these sets will release on normal Tsum Tsum Tuesdays. So don't anyone go ordering $250 boxes or $20 minis! Unless you really really want them now of course :p

Well, I'm pretty sure that Peter Pan will be November's set because they were shown at a Xmas merchandasing presentation.

It was confirmed that Peter Pan and the Frozen Fever carrier set (And the Frozen Fever LE dolls YIKES) will come put November 3rd.

Subscription page is up: http://www.disneystore.com/tsum-tsum-subscription/mn/1029722/
I still don't see how that price adds up even if it includes shipping. It'd make a lot more sense if it included that month's set or had a feature where you could select which monthly tsums you wanted. I just hope they show us what's being shipped before the service starts, if it's something good I might consider trying it out.

It's one mini tsum (exclusive one) and another small (medium?).
But what is the best thing of all is that the Subscription is Limited Edition :-D I mean, they wi know how many subscriptor they will have so they can produce in demand... But no. Wwe better make the exclusived tsum tsum access limited so it will be limited-limited-exclusive.... No matters if they announce which tsum tsum will be because the subscription will be sold out and you could not even buy it....

I think it could become a great idea if instead of the regular medium they give an strap or vinyl you could trade in stores and with friends along with the exclusive plush (for $15 with shipment).

And no word about Europe, of course...

Right. Okay, well if anyone gets a cat character tsum that they are willing to sell at cost, send me a pm. Otherwise I am out of the tsum collecting hobby as there is no way I can keep up with scalper pricing for LE exclusives on selling sites and/or monthly subscription fees from Disney itself. :(

The Fantasia box set is being sold for $49.95, which splits into about $7.14/tsum. Not a terrible price considering that's only $2 more per tsum than the unboxed ones. The other 2 boxes will probably have the same price ratio.

Not personally sold on the Pinocchio rumor, so I hope the unknown set is released tomorrow so we find out what it is! The Steamboat Willie set doesn't interest me so far, so I might get away with not having to buy anything from scalpers and just have to wait for the Fantasia TTT. :D

I can see the price working *if* by small they mean what we refer to as medium. Since minis are $5 each and mediums are $15, then $5 is for shipping/handling. I'm still suspicious, though.

I will still probably sit the subscription service out, because I am limiting myself with tsums to only my very favorite characters and movies, and there are just too many other characters out there. And if something I want is in a subscription box, I'll go after that particular one on the secondary market.

Second box set I've seen on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Disney-D23-Expo-2015-Tsum-Tsum-Set-/161794397215?hash=item25abb2941f
Started at $125.99 and now it's at $150. Instabuy is $300. Looks like sellers aren't even waiting until they leave the convention center to post these lol.

On the other side girl from @tsumtsumtsum waited for 14 hours in line and the Fantasia box, Sorcerer mini tsum and other character more were sold out...
I think there's a way to do things right, but Disney doesn't care enough.

I think that's just the reality of any collectible item. :p If scalpers want to wait for 18+ hours in line to buy tsum tsums just to sell them online then there's no real way to stop them. Plus Disney can't exactly guarantee that everyone who waits in line will get what they want when there are hundreds of people waiting. It looks like they limited everything to 2 per person, but when there's so much demand it's impossible to please everyone.

Make more :-)
Scalpers only came when there's an stock problem. If Disney solves their stock problem (with general tsums) then scalpers won't buy them massively (as they do) and maybe they do not waste 18 hours in line for LE sets.
I don't think Disney can eliminate scalpers but they can do more than they're doing (in my opinion).
Maybe it's just that I see thing in a different way...

I Feel like I'm going to end up getting the first tsum subscription box out of fear of what I'll miss out on... The idea will either be a hit or miss. If they do really cool exclusive characters or exclusive outfits.

Like for example if they released a brown haired rapunzel to go with the Tangled release that would be awesome... But if they just did like a yellow/different color pascal and called it an exclusive I'll be so done.

Me too, but I'm not sure we're gonna get it in Europe...
I want them to be more clear about information (subscription, collections avaliavility...).

One thing about subscription: if they give you a mini exclusive tsum and a medium regular then sencond market will be fill with those medium tsum a lot of people won't want... There's a differente between having a bunch of mini tsums and a bunch of medium, that will be a lot of room. I will like that the second thing change every month (one month a medium tsum, another a shirt, other a puzzle...), that will be better, I think, because everybody will be interested only in the exclusive one.

Hope they won't be exclusive characters... With a limited subscription and that price they can be sooooo hard and expensive to buy later :-(

I'm sooooo done with Disney right now....
