opened up my new Elsa today, I'm liking her! I do actually like the skin with the purple-ish glow and her dress is very nice and kinda unique style wise...only thing that is really bugging me is how stiff her hair looks. They were able to get coronation Elsa's bangs to look soft, I'm sure the stiffness has to do with the metallic thread being used in hair that is not long and flowy

Luckily I have no interest in the Cinderella dolls but will look forward to reading this thread tomorrow!

Duuuudes!! I actually LOVE the tinsel in Anna's hair. The shine not as much but the tinsel is a nice touch of bling

Please keep your ignorance out of this forum.

Excuse me? I answered the question that was asked. No need to get bitchy with me. I have no idea how my post was ignorant or offensive? I merely explained from my point of view why we do not get "POC" merchandise.
Please also note that I use "POC" in quotations. I don't really agree with how the internet has taken the terminology and used it into a weapon. If I need to clarify that.
Apologies if I offended anyone with my explanation. I guess I will just disappear again. Nice welcoming forum this is, always and forever! Toodles.

As previously explained, I meant it as the internet terminology of the term, and how it is commonly used on the internet. Didn't think anyone needed the full explanation, just the abbreviation explained, so that is what I did.

And your store's demographic must be different than mine, so we will leave it at that. I didn't mean anything in any offensive manner but it is clear to me that I am still not welcome here and will take my leave.

As for Wedding Cinderella I'm happy to see her displayed in a larger box so the details of the dress and veil are visible. However I would have preferred to see some kind of detail on the inner part of the cardboard box, especially since that part needs to be left open in order to display the doll itself. I'm running out of space to display my collection, so for me that's a waste of space.

hmm, she still looks really similar to the classic doll, or whatever the smaller ones that cost around 35 dollars is called.
but that's just me personally, good luck to all hoping to get her!

Yeah, don't know what's up with that strap. Is she supposed to be carry-friendly or something? That's just weird. I was hoping the boxes for these dolls would blow me away, but I have to say I am feeling rather underwhelmed at the moment. Nothing about that box for the wedding doll screams $500 to me...

I actually like the boxes. Definitely sets it apart from the rest of the dolls in the line. The jewels on the front of the Wedding Cinderella box almost look real, though I doubt they are (though that WOULD justify the cost, lol). Regardless, I'm actually really curious to see how fast Wedding Cinderella sells out.

Yeahhhh, I absolutely love the wedding version, but there's no way I can justify $500. Jeez, Disney, couldn't you have done it at $250 or something?

Also, my Anna and Kristof came today (Elsa came yesterday), and they were in great shape! In fact, they were so nice that I swapped out the Elsa and Kristof over my in-store ones (Anna's dress was a little nicer from my in-store one). I actually said "wow" when I pulled my .com Elsa out of the box...she was flawless, and even her jewels seemed to shine and pop more than the in-store one.

I looked at the edition size on one, but sliding them out is so scary for me that it's the only one I did it for.

I really like the box for blue Cinderella, minus the strap...why? Otherwise I really like the setup- it looks like a scene from the movie! The wedding Cindy box is underwhelming, though, especially for $500. It is nice that you can see all the detail on her dress, but the plain white on the inside doesn't look especially expensive.

oh, i forgot to say in my last post, thanx for the photos Beth!
sorry, it's late (or really early depending how you wanna look at it) and my manners are being flighty.

Oh my god they both look fantastic! I was kind of put off by the blue Cinderella's box at first too, but I think it look so stunning! WHY DO I HAVE TO BE BROKE NOW OF ALL TIMES!?!?

Thank you BethDarleen for the pictures...I am so glad we can see her in the box before she is released!

I really don't know what to do about these dolls...the boxes aren't like the other 17" dolls, and the strap on top of Blue Cinderella's box is really strange...but I think she looks absolutely gorgeous and I love that they put a glass slipper behind her!

I am not crazy about Wedding Cinderella's box. Since I display the dolls in their boxes I would need space for the giant outer flaps of her box and the presentation is a little lacking. They didn't even decorate the inside of the flaps, they just left them plain white. Maybe it's just me but I am failing to see how this doll justifies her $500 price. A few hours ago I was seriously considering trying to get her but now I might be passing.

I am really loving Blue Cinderella though! Minus the strap lol...

It's hard to tell from the photo, but blue Cindy's box looks like it's all plastic in the front -- which is great for display but makes me worry that the box would be more vulnerable to damage during shipping. I can just image the whole front arriving smashed in. :anxious:
