Haha I wrote that, and they did respond but with a generic response. Unfortunatetly not may other people posted their issues and complaints so to them it just looks like I am a disgruntled customer. They already posted a message asking me to message their customer service to have it sorted. It just means that they didn't even read my post and just responded with a generic response.

I complained while asking for a tracking number and got the following in response, don't know how generic it is but definitely not the worst I've gotten.

I certainly appreciate you taking the time to inform us of the difficulties you experienced when ordering through DisneyStore.com.
This is not an example of the quality service we wish to provide and we hope that you find this to be an isolated incident. Upon reviewing your order, I am seeing that your items shipped on October 2, 2014. A resolution is currently underway to provide you with a tracking number for your order. I ask that you allow 1-2 business days to receive a notification, as to, the reoslution of your opportunity. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

nayaichigo, they told me that on Saturday but so far I didn't get a response from the "corresponding department" let alone a tracking number. :/ I'm on my way home from work now and I really do hope I got a notification from UPS on my door! :anxious:
 
Is there any point in getting both blue and pink Auroras? In terms of value do you think they will be worth a lot? I think I might buy the pink tomorrow and buy blue Aurora on ebay! Hopefully she shouldn't be too much
 
I think u will be looking around £200 / $320 / €255 for each doll on Ebay . But as time goes on over next few months you will prob see them rise. Think Maleficent will be the one who would be worth the most
 
Just to update everyone on my missing tracking number situation. I emailed Disney again and asked them to just tell me straight if the doll was lost as they have taken $196 from my card and they said to give it another 24 to 48 hours...which would take it to the 8th/9th October... However I also emailed UPS in the UK (as the doll should be in the UK by now) and they told me they have no record of my address being linked to any packages....so basically I have given up hope. I'm really upset.

Yeah they told me to wait already two days ago but I sent new email again. Somebody was told they're shipping some orders tomorrow.. But why send the shipped email already a week ago if it's not really shipped yet.. Annoying.
 

I'm really upset too. Trying to make sure to get a doll at all, paying a lot for shipping from US and then all this happens! I'm pretty sure UPS would have already contacted me about custom charges if the package was here.

If they have lost our orders I guess eventually they will refund? I wonder how long they're gonna have us wait..
 

Yeah in my previous experiences ordering from the US site the UPS van driver called me on the morning he was going to deliver to tell me how much customs would be and what time he would arrive. However when the items were delivered Disney would then charge my card whereas now they have ALREADY charged it so I'm not happy.
 

I called Disney today and they told me to wait another 24 hours - then the whatever department will get back to me with my tracking number. Then I called both UPS USA and Germany and neither has - surprise - any records of a parcel being shipped to my address. It's so frustrating. I guess I'll try ordering her again tomorrow and hope the order won't get cancelled. I feel like crying!


UPDATE! Disney just emailed a tracking number but.. it's not working? What's that supposed to mean now? >.<

Just wanted to say good luck to anyone going to the stores tomorrow!

As for tracking numbers they typically take 24 hours to work.
 
Just to keep you guys updated: I sent UPS my non working tracking number asking if they had any clue about my parcel's whereabouts. This is their response: "It is a valid tracking number for UPS, however, it has not yet been used. Please contact the shipper to confirm it has been picked up or if there is a different number." :shock:
 
Maybe like was stated before the dolls won't be shipped until tomorrow? Maybe the blast off email was sent too early by mistake...I still have no tracking number at all though. So who knows at this point. All I know is if the doll isn't at my house within a week I hope they refund me easily. :sad:
 
I received my Aurora pre-order today damage free so that was nice! I had never seen her in person before, she's definitely beautiful. Going to head out to my local Disney in the AM for Maleficent and possibly blue Aurora, eep!
 
Good luck tomorrow and I hope everyone gets their orders for those who have ordered it online! Not sure if Manchester will have a lot if people but I will be going a little earlier to make sure! So excited!!
 
Well, this sucks. I've had to report my card for suspicious activity. Talk about bad timing on the fraudsters part! Not pleased at all.
 
I called DS customer service today and the rep told me that there is a huge backlog in shipping out orders because of an error that happened late last week. All LE tracking should be sent out tomorrow. So lets hope that that this is true. No tracking here yet..
 
Ugh, starting to get very nervous about tomorrow. I can't wait until it is over, and I have my dolls here at home! :anxious: I already have everything laid out so I'm ready to get up and go in the morning. Is it just me or does anyone else find it hard to think about anything but dolls at the moment?
 
Hi everyone! I'm sorry to read all the problems Everyone is having, hopefully everything gets resolved soon. My closest disney store is an hour away and I do all my doll shopping online I never had a problem with my shipping with the exception of damaged packages. My Aurora was shipped on 10-01 and I will be receiving her this Thursday. I will be going in store to purchase my dolls tomorrow to avoid the online problems.... And stress.
 

Yep, in school, all that was on my mind was Le aurora doll tomorrow. I don't know how I will get any sleep tonight. I hope the aurora I will be getting will be perfect, mostly.
