DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion

Link fairies will be both on here and Facebook, but I would have both open. This site can slowing down due to too much traffic sometimes and Facebook doesn't seem to have that issue usually.

Also, I'd do a practice run on the website earlier that day if you haven't ordered anything online from Disney at all. This way, you know what you're doing. One of the pages offers an option to apply different codes for the various offers they have running. The code to remember is SHIPMAGIC, as this will give you free shipping and handling on any orders over $75, which the LE dolls are.

I'm dreading it for us in the UK as we have pins released on a Tuesday & Tsum Tsum! I'm going to try my local store but again I'm unsure how busy it will be so ill have my phone to try online too just to cover all basis. I'd rather not try on my mobile tbh as I doubt the signal will be very good and I find the mobile store crap.

Ive gotten every release in store its just with frozen it always brings out the crazies. and yes just like the ones from the movie of the same title lol. but seriously my stress and anxiety are always the worst that day. I usually don't have much of an issue its just the build up mostly but at the very least by that day all the releases will be done

What kind of games are we talking about?

It's a game where there are two grand prize winners (one per doll) and the others get consolation prizes. Unlike the raffles on other Facebook groups where only one person gets something and everyone else gets nothing, in the Facebook group, everyone who participates gets a prize (similar to the games run on DPF.)

Hey guys. Can someone please tell me what are the official dates for UK releases of Heroes and Vilains and Al LE dolls.
Thanks

I too am terrified of Nov 3rd. I'm gonna try in store (probably will have to go so early) and thankfully because a new store just opened in my city, it's not in a mall so I won't have to worry about lining up at the right entrance. I just hope that I don't end up with a crappy box. At my old store's Aurora release, almost every single box was crushed and the cashiers were very unobliging for the people who asked to see the other boxes.
I wish that red Jasmine hadn't been d23 exclusive. After hearing so many horror stories, I don't think I'll ever shell out so much money to go across the country and not have any fun or even a chance at the merch (even when you wait all night!) I don't see why they do the dolls as exclusives. People aren't going to the con solely for dolls; Disney could probably make more money by offering them to everybody (thats just me wishing the rest of us, and even those at d23, had a chance lol)

If it's like the US release, then it starts September 29th since there is no opportunity to pre-order the full set in the UK.

You should be okay if you get to the store a few hours before opening.

Unfortunately D23 always has exclusive merchandise, whether it be pins or dolls.

Unless you are willing to camp out overnight?
Unless you had Sorcerer tickets or a D23 Gold member, camping out overnight wouldn't do anything. I wish I hadn't listened to people telling me getting in an hour early with D23 Gold membership wouldn't have made a difference - I camped out as a General member but Gold members go in ahead of you as long as they arrive by 9:59am so there was no chance.

I am a gold member and camped out from the afternoon before. I was able to get some of the LE stuff but not everything I wanted, so even being a gold member and camping out is not a guarantee. The exclusives are tough to get and the really limited stuff is nearly impossible to get unless you are a Sorcerer. I would think a general ticket goer wouldn't have a chance at all unfortunately. But all cons have exclusive merchandise, mainly to entice people to attend.

If you arrived in line by 2am as a gold member..you would have gotten the jasmine doll.

I didn't even line up overnight on Saturday and was able to get Jasmine. I waited about two hours outside to get in and then four hours in the DisneyStore line, and I got one of the last ones they had. I think she was a bit easier to get (if you were dedicated and willing to wait) because they released all the Jasmine dolls they had on one day. I was able to get Elsa and Hans on Friday after camping out. Some of the other items though were a bit tougher to get.

I wish D23 hadn't coincided with the rerelease of Aladdin. That's my favorite movie and it just made the Red Jasmine and other merchandise (like the lithos that sold out online super quickly) harder to attain.
