So true! I am so glad that doll season will be over in 2 weeks. Here's hoping we don't see anything until next August!
 
I'm hoping for another LE Fairy around March (without a price increase, please), but it would be the smaller doll. Around May they may do something for Alice 2 in 17". I can't see them doing anything doll-wise for the Jungle Book, but you never know. I think I could pass if they do, although Jungle Book is a favorite of mine. I love the Disney classic version, but also Kipling is one of my all time favorite authors. I'm looking forward to the movie and wondering about the collectibles.
 
Ohhhh there always has to be something going on. UPS "can't find" my office to deliver Wedding Aladdin. I really wish they would use fedex instead.

It's true there will be the same problem with the credit card, but I might use this option next time, since the cash from my debit card I need, I can't afford a huge incorrect bill or two or maybe three charges, which is something they really need to fix. Thanks for that advice.

Received Jafar yesterday and he looks so cool! Does anyone remember where on the shipper box you find the COA number. I can't remember where it is and I don't want to have to open the box it to look on the COA itself.

I do! And he is absolutely gorgeous in person. The detail of the embroidery is breathtaking and he has a classically handsome face with that lovely chestnut hair.... I had to get him out again last night just to pose with my blue Aurora and make them dance :3 well worth the money! And I got him for less than retail

Yikes! I know the feeling. UPS lost my Kristoff back in March. I still don't know HOW, but it just 'disappeared' and was never delivered. I spent hours on the phone with DS and UPS but eventually they just said sorry and gave me a refund. I was so pissed, I had to resort to buying him for MORE on Ebay. Now I always watch my tracking numbers like a hawk. It's just so frustrating. But with a set that lucrative I hope it all works out!

Me! Phillip is my only Disney Prince so far, but he is absolutely exquisite. Just as HLRaikonnen said the embroidery is fantastic, and I especially love his cloak, shield, and sword. He and Blue Aurora look absolutely perfect together.

Congrats to everyone who has received their dolls. Aladdin is due tomorrow, I hope. The tracking went dead on 10/18 and hasn't update since. I hope he isn't lost.
 
Received Aladdin yesterday & he's absolutely gorgeous. I was worried that he'd have bad hair but it's looks great.


now I'm just nervous about Frozen Fever coming up ;_;
 
I just called my local Disney store, and they still haven't received any info on the frozen fever dolls.

They could have and won't say anything until after the Elsa/Hans set comes out. That's what I expect them to do. I went to my local DS in person two weeks before the Heroes vs. Villains were sold (individually) and they didn't have any information to provide.

My store re-opened the first week of October, I've asked two cast members so far, one in person and one via phone... Both had no clue what I was talking about when I asked about the Frozen Fever set...

Do y'all think my store will get them?

my store is not getting the heroes vs villains or any of the Aladdin dolls, so do you think it's unlikely for the frozen sets?
 

I have no clue, with my store they had the designer sets, so I guess that means that my local Disney store will have them, but I still need to ask them later just in case. I don't know if my store had the Alladin dolls since I never checked to see if they had them. My guess is that you should ask them sometime next week just to be sure.

Some stores won't know until the week they go on sale or the week before. Your store probably didn't get the other dolls due to the whole remodeling situation, so now that they have that out of the way, I think your store has a good chance of getting the Frozen Fever dolls. Frozen is the more popular brand and the they come out in early November. I would call your store a few days before they come out just to see if they will be getting them in.

I should start collecting the dolls more often I can't wait til I get Phillip for Christmas and my designers I love and the detailing on the 17" is stunning i just wish I had the money and a fighting chance for the frozen fever dolls just I know they will sell fast maybe too fast
 
My closest store knew what I was talking about when I went a couple weeks ago to ask about things at least.

Ugh so nervous, scalpers stay away! I don't want you! I'm gonna be so heartbroken/sad if I don't manage to get at least Elsa. I never had a chance at SQ Elsa so this is the next best thing... :< Actually I almost like it more than the SQ one from the pictures.

(Speaking of Snow Queens, how amazing would a 17" LE Ingrid doll be? Never happen since that was already last season and they don't do Once Upon A Time dolls except that one super-limited D23 set, but still.)
 
I came home from class to find an email from UPS, saying Aladdin was delivered. Except there's no box on my door step or at the front office. ????
Should I be worried? They've never had a lag time in delivering before. Apparently I missed them by an hour. Now I have had USPS say a package was delivered, only to have it show up 3-5 hours after the email notice. Or the next day.

Edited to add: My next door neighbor just knocked on my front door. She had the box! Phew. Not that I mind, things have been stolen before. Sorry for the rambling/nerves. This is my first LE doll and I couldn't afford to have him go AWOL.

Photo. Not the best, my apologies. *knock on wood* this was the first DS mailing box that wasn't crushed/dented. I'm saving it for moving him. He is staying MIB and I'm impressed with its quality.

Okay so I'm now not on call in November, working the 3rd until early AM the 4th which I think with the time difference *might* allow me a chance to try online... but oh goodness I'm SO nervous for FF dolls. If I miss out :/
