i hope so at least by early next year too. I still need the queen and prince to be made in 17'' form. it was one of the biggest let downs when they didn't make them with the snow white dvd. Disney can still redeem themselves I hope they do. so many want these dolls and it was shocking and heart breaking they didn't make them.

I bet they're just waiting for the anniversary to release products. If they are rereleasing a new Le belle doll, then I'm sure they'll do it for Snow White as well. It's just really bad timing, and Disney store probably wasn't ready for the merchandise yet seeing as they barely put a new pin set for the occasion. With the 80 th anniversary coming up, there really isn't an excuse for them not to make an Le doll.
 
A Tumblr page just confirmed we ARE going to get a new 17" Belle this Fall!!! And we will get Beast, Gaston and Platinum Bell & Beast (online only).

I am so excited to announce that the following limited edition dolls will be released along with the Beauty and the Beast Blu-Ray/Dvd rerelease this fall:

  • 17″ Belle ($119.95)
  • 17″ Beast ($119.95)
  • 17″ Gaston ($119.95)
  • 17″ Platinum Belle and Beast two doll set ($750)
There will be a pre-order for Belle sometime this July. Beast and Gaston will most likely be released as “surprise” dolls and will not be on pre-order!
The Belle and Beast doll set will be an online exclusive!
These dolls will be based on the animated movie to my knowledge! We will most likely get separate LE dolls for the live-action movie in March!

OMG I'M SO EXCITED, I really need Belle in her blue dress and with the yellow one for the Platinum set!! Yaaaay!
 
Hmmmm.... This is amazing but at the same time I'm trying to keep my expectations low because it could also be wrong.

As for the platinum set... I'm sure it will be ballroom belle and beast. So what will the solo Belle look like?
 
Ahhh so happy!!! I would LOVE the Platnium set but it's so darn expensive! I'm definitely getting Belle, Besst and Gaston though for sure. I wonder how the surprise releases work, will they be available online or are they in store only?
 
I wonder what the platinum set will be like though. Not to mention the other belle doll. I'm hoping that belle will be in a better designed ball gown dress rather than her previous one, or maybe we'll get her in her blue dress, who knows. I wonder if the platinum set might be belle in a wedding dress or something, even if it didn't show her getting married, Disney might design some wedding dress for her like jasmine; but who knows really.
 
I'm guessing the 17 inch will be Belle in her winter or library scene outfit, Designer Belle with Gaston will be blue, and Belle will be in her yellow ballgown (Beast in his human form?) as the Platnium. It's so exciting I can hardly wait!!
 
I'm really excited at the possibilities for BATB, I was hoping for a doll break as I'm planning a Britney Vegas trip in September but sooo much for that hope.
 
hmmm.. I think we can definitely rule out the peasant blue outfit for the 17" LE doll, since that is what she will most likely be wearing with Gaston in the Designer set.
I honestly don't think that we will see the pink or green dress. What I'm guessing they'll do is have solo Belle in a redesigned ballgown and have a more elaborate version in the platinum set. Like the harrods dolls.

THat's my closest guess.
 
Words cannot describe how excited I am for this release. The last time I was this excited for the fall doll season, it was back in 2014 when the Sleeping Beauty dolls and 2nd wave of fairytale designer dolls were coming out. Just the thought of getting a 17" version of the Beast, Gaston, AND a new version of Belle just makes me so excited!

I think the platinum set could be based on one of three different scenes in the movie.

1.) The ballroom scene.
2.) The last scene of the film with them dancing (basically the same as the ballroom scene but with the beast being human).
3.) The snow scene with them feeding the birds.

I really want the standalone Belle is be in the red dress, but if they decide to use her standard blue dress then I hope they at least make it look really nice. Really looking forward to the pre-order pictures of her in July!
 
Omg, I just watched the trailer for the BATB live action movie. It seriously gave me chills.

I am really looking forward to all of the BATB dolls -- the ones this fall and the live-action dolls. I'm surprised that they are doing an animated version of the dolls since Disney has already released an LE version of Belle, but I'm certainly not complaining!

I would love it if they redid her yellow ball gown because I think the one from a few years ago is kind of gaudy, but I don't know if Disney would actually release a doll again in the same outfit. That would be a first.

Never cared for original Le belle either. Her dress needs to be poofier, and they shouldn't have gone with those toilet paper roses. Lol
 
I'm going to try for these too, but I'm not excited about competing for these :anxious:

I'll be happy with just Beast though if I can get him.
 
WOW! Just watched the trailer for the live action BATB. I had tears AND chills. I knew she was my favorite, but had no idea I was THAT fangirl! LOL I will be camping out for these dolls, Live action AND the ones this fall (Crazy excited about this!).

I positively cant wait to see the Gaston doll! He will be a great addition to my villains! I hope they jazz him up nice! theres alot of things they could do to emphasize his hunting And I do hope they give him the proper build . Im wondering if for the beast its going to be a larger box... Really curious to see the designer dolls too.
 
Oh they have to use a new body mold for Gaston or he won't look right at all. None of the current male bodies could work. After all, no one has muscles like Gaston!

As for the Beast, its going to be interesting seeing how they deal with his size. Knowing Disney, they will probably just make him a little larger than the current male dolls so they won't have to alter the size of the box in any way. I'm more interested in seeing how they actually turn him into a doll. Will he be all plastic like the designer doll, or will he be covered in fur? Ugh I need pictures now!!!

I do hope so! Kristoff is a fairly sturdy man and it seems they gave him padding on his doll to fill him out. Oh yes im dying to see pics! so looking forward to these! im wondering if hell be plastic or fuzzy too. maybe fuzzy since it may be cheaper to make? I guess well see soon :)
 
They created a new body mold for Jafar (his hands at least), so I would assume they would do the same for Gaston. They will need to make one because two dolls are coming out this year, the designer and 17".

Also, hoping that he has actual rooted hair... Do you guys thing they will give him chest hair? haha

If they give him chest hair ill die of exsanguination from the nose bleeds! and i think they will give him rooted hair and his pony tail :). Nobody's Hot like Gaston!

Would have absolutely loved a White Queen le doll! She's probably my fav of the 12 inch besides the Red Queen!

Same here it's really confusing some stores seem to be releasing them tomorrow in stores and some seem to be releasing them on Monday so confusing. Disney really screwed up the dates on these dolls...I'm calling my store to confirm ,when they are releasing them
 
Hello there everyone, I just want to showyou my new dolls.

I wenttoday in the evening to my local Disney store, just to be sure that the releasewill be tomorrow, and the manager just said to me that indeed the official releasein stores is tomorrow, but that if I want to buy the dolls today it was Ok, sohe sell them to me, just like that.
I’m still on shock

they both are really beautiful, but Iracebeth The Red Queen is the best
