I'm still stalking eBay waiting for Eric to drop... do y'all think $260 is too much for him? He seems to stay in the $200-300 range... I'm also having internal struggles over the 60th Aurora, I already have the other two.

I think 2500 is a decent Prince edition size... I think the other hard part with the boys is they're just not as fun as the girls... And like you said about the prince head sculpt curse I'm sure that turns some collectors away.



im so excited to find out who this years designer sets are... I'm guessing belle and gaston plus Alice and red queen are very likely but who else?

I think it's already been posted like everywhere. If there's a fifth set it hasn't leaked yet.

I don't think any of the 2D character sculpts look much like the movie; we've just accepted the dolls to look the way they do (if anything they're prettier in doll form). But I agree that the non princess dolls should be a lower LE size. Not that I really care as long as I get my dolls.

I'm curious to know how long these Alice dolls will take to sell. I think even most stores still have them (mine do). Non glamorous dolls are a hard sell, so hopefully Disney keeps that in mind for future releases.
 
WHAT I WOULDN'T GIVE FOR THE FIFTH SET TO BE TIANA/FACILLIER. Just imagine her in her white flapper gown with the feather in her hair and him, he probably has the best male outfit that can be jazzed up into something fitting of LE dolls. But I'd also welcome Jasmine/Jafar or Meg/Hades or Esmeralda/Frollo (lol fat chance on those last two, sigh)

I hope for the Cinderella/Tremaine Cinderella is in her pink dress (I mean, she'd almost have to be as I can't see them doing a LE in her drab brown chore clothing). Belle will obviously be in her blue town dress but that can be fancied up a bit, much more so than Cinderella's standard clothing (the colour is nicer at least). I really, really, REALLY hope the Alice/QoH set is based on the animated version and NOT the LA version. Use the same body mold from Peter Pan for Alice (they're both children, so it doesn't really matter that they're opposite sex) and the same top part from Ursula for QoH (probably making her main body part soft and giving her plastic legs similar to the doll King Fergus got. That'd work just swell.)

Can't wait til pictures start leaking either way!
 
Hello everyone! I just wanted to share with you my custom Alice doll I made! Hope you all love her as much as I do! I edited her picture to look like a stock photo! I also have more pictures on my instagram and tumblr accounts!
 
There should be a fifth set. We have no information on if one exists or not, but it would be really bizarre to only have 4 when 5 has been the norm for the past few years. I personally hope its Tiana and Facillier too!

She looks great! I really wish Disney had decided to release the doll like this instead of the mandarin outfit. I still think the face mold isn't perfect, but she looks much nicer like this.
 

I mean, this line-up sounds good to me. I would understand if Disney doesn't make a Tiana/Mulan/Pocahontas set because those take sooooooooo long to sell out.
If it hasn't leaked by now, there isn't a fifth set. That's that. If there was a fifth set, you'd think it would be Jasmine and Jafar.
 

Not sure about Eric, but I have all 3 Sleeping Beauty dolls, pink, blue & 60th Anniversary. They are all gorgeous!
 
Erics worth it hes gorgeous! im all about the prince and male dolls! Id like to have at least the primary three characters for each film. princess prince and villain. My life would be complete with Cinderellas prince, the queen and snow whites prince.

i think eventually I'll break done and get her... I really love her outfit and the packaging is for cool. Also I went for the first time to Disneyland during the 60th so it'd be special in that way.

I would love cinderella's Prince Charming I've always loved his and Phillips outfits.


I would love a Tiana set! Especially with the shadow man! That would be so awesome. Could you imagine a 17 inch dr f? They could do the voodoo faces/friends from other side or shadows in the background and give him the skeleton face paint.

im most excited for the Alice set, the gaston, and Aurora.

I actually have gotten email ads for these dolls before. Always the ones that don't sell out. Last time was during the Fairytale Designer second wave. Mulan/Shang and Pocahontas/John Smith were the two being pushed, which isn't surprising, as we all know how those sales went.
 

Which is sad because that makes me think that we will never get le dolls of Mulan and Pochahontas seeing as how the couples of them sold so poorly. Maybe someday but I'm not holding my breath on that
 

shame. I really loved both those sets! I thought Mulan was especially gorgeous! I can wait to see the new belle doll! the leaks cant come soon enough.
 
I really think the increased price had something to do with the Through the Looking Glass dolls selling poorly.

I'm not saying it was the only reason or even the main reason, but it is a put-off. That is a lot per doll, at that level of detail and articulation.

Hmmm... I think it's just to incentivize people to buy the set. I still think that the 17" doll will be in the gold outfit. I know for sure that she won't be in her blue peasant outfit because that's what she would wear with Gaston in the designer set..... curious...
 
I don't know what happened to the German site, but the minute the dolls came online, they were sold out...
 
Arrggg, another release shambles from Disney Europe.

I had Alice in my basket all the way through to checkout and then the site goes offline!!
