I agree. For me they are not different enough to warrant buying them and they are out of my budget, but happy for those who want them. I can see why people are annoyed because they advertised the blue aurora differently to how she turned up. But people should just be happy with what they have. I am just happy to have a blue Aurora, Maleficent with Diablo and a phillip. Which did you get and which was your favourite? I can't decide as it's the first set were I think they are all as nice as each other!
 
It's actually really hard to pick a fave this time. When I first saw them all in pics it was Phillip (believe it or not) but once I got them all home and reposed, I really love the way both Auroras look side by side. I guess broken down into individuals I'll go with Phillip. It's not to say I don't love Mal, though. Really I love them all.
 
Yeah I know what you mean, usually it's easy to pick a favourite but this is such a well done set! I adore phillip and his outfit is so detailed but then Aurora is so pretty and Maleficent is just wow and I love the assessories the shield, sword, Diablo and the staff. People don't show the phillip enough love, he is amazing. Did you take any pictures of your sleeping beauty dolls?
 
I received my shipment email for Blue Aurora on Sunday, but the tracking info still isn't working.

When I clicked on Cinderella's tracking info immediately after I received the email for her order last Thursday it instantly worked...even though the doll hadn't been shipped at that time it still came up with the "shipping label created/ order processed: ready for UPS" label.

Is this happening for anyone else? Whenever something goes awry from DisneyStore it makes me nervous! LOL


And about the Harrods set...they are pretty and I do appreciate the extra details, but like the Frozen set I am choosing to ignore that they exist. I agree that they were definitely misleading showing the Harrods Blue Aurora's pictures when selling "regular" Blue Aurora...but nothing surprises me with DisneyStore anymore. I wonder if every release from now on will also have a Harrods counterpart.
 

This is exactly what I was saying, but someone said I'm negative. Instead of focusing on what you don't have, try enjoying what you do.

I always get a blank "link is not working" from DS.com (when I click on the email). I have to go directly to DS.com to see if the tracking information has been uploaded there, otherwise I call.
 
Thanks love it! Would love to see how you personalised their poses if you could post a pic in the future when you have one. Loved what you did with the coronation Elsa. I really want to cut free Auroras hair so that some of it is infront of her instead of all been stuck at the side but I daren't lol.
 
I honestly don't know why I'm surprised by the Harrod's set. No matter what Disney said, we should have seen it coming. Any chance they can get to make more money! But, if they do it again next year for Aladdin's release, can they at least go with different outfits, like they did with the Frozen set? As much as I love Sleeping Beauty, I'm not going to spend even more money I don't have for a more "bedazzled" version of the same gowns.
 
My link Maleficent and Philip finally work, of course it only says a label has been made but at least it's a start. Still waiting for a replacement Aurora to ship.....
 

The frozen set was the same as the sleeping beauty one? Just more bedazzled than the regular. I would hate if they did separate outfits as their is only 100 made and many would want them wereas if they are just more bedazzled it doesn't bother many people if they can't get it.
 
I myself am suprised that Disney decided to release a Harrods set, but it does explain the odd pictures we got for the blue dress Aurora and the second pink Aurora in the D23 video. I do think its ridiculous that they are charging 500 for dolls with very little changes (should have been 200 if even that) and that they basically false advertised, but what can you do? The changes are so miniscule that I don't think they warrent a purchase so I don't see why people need to get in such a fuss over it. But I do agree that Disney needs to give a heads up next time and don't false advertise and basically lie about us not getting a Harrods set. Aladdin will probably be handled a lot better where it is a larger film release during an expo year so I think this whole doll fiasco won't be as bad next year (knock on wood).
 

A. Is there any way you can switch the front white covers for auroras? I wanna see if they compliment each other.

B. I'm not "butthurt" because disney released another doll set, it's that they keep continuing to treat their customers like sacks of money instead of actual human beings. And that's what bothers me. They are not truthful in their exercises and they don't respect us, the people with the buying power. I'm studying business admin right now and they are doing the exact opposite of everything that I'm learning. This is why it bothers me. I just expected more from them
 
A. Good idea! When I saw the pics I thought the covers would've looked nice in reverse but never even checked (since I rom over them anyway)

B. I'm still not clear why everyone's upset. Is it because of the principle of the thing or because they want the dolls but can't afford them? If it's just the principle, that sounds totally butthurt to me. If it's because they can't afford them then we should really be happy with the regular releases.
 

Hmm... I deffinitly like that the borders now complement the backgrounds. Makes the Color of the doll stand out more.

As for the other issue.... It could just be that I care way too much in how they conduct their business. I know some people think that it's perfectly fine for disney to do whatever they want as long as they get the items that they want. But I'm just too intertwined in figuring out how companies can do better.... I guess you could say I should get a life lol. You should hear me talk about Funko pop and quality control ;p
 
how do you know they are not sold out?
