I have been to WDW many times and never see pins in bags (also on cards), but I see a ton of them on DPF and auction sites. Do pins come in bags at DSF, WDW, or DLR?

Usually not, but there are a few pin bags that come with one pin (like the recently released DSF pin trading bag). The photos you see here are taken after the pins have been arranged and put onto the pin bag pages - lots of time is spent arranging the pages into themes

I meant do they come in little plastic wrapper bags to protect them. I see other people have pins in little baggies and wondered if they came like that. I see them mostly with DSF pins like this:

I have several pins from WDI that come like this. I haven't seen any at DLR though... and I can't say anything for DSF as I've never been there.

Yes, most of the DSF pins come on backers in the small bags. The bags are either plastic with an adhesive tab and others are litle zip lock type. Some pins from DLR and WDW come in bags with the backers and some with backers only. Most pins that are traded don't have either (trading with cast members are pins only). I keep a small supply of zip lock type bags to pin "naked" pin in to protect them. The bags come in all sizes. The smallest I have are 1.5" x 2" (good for "hidden mickey" type pins) and the largest 5" x 7" (for jumbo type pins). I get mine at a local collectibles show.

dsf: yes bags.
wdw and dlr, some have bags.
wdi depends on pin series.

I put most of my dangler pins into jewelry style clear ziplock type bags to keep them from getting damaged.

Also, I think some of the DLRP PTN pins and LEs from the parks come in bags as well as some of the ones from Japan's Disney Store.

DLRP bags

I have many pins from DLRParis which come in these kind of bags , but I think it is mainly the PTN and LE pins they do now.

WDW LE pins used to come like that but now it's hit or miss. The event pins all come like that though.

In the old days, when LE3000 pins would sell out in hours, WDW pins did used to come in plastic packaging. The pin would still be on a card, but there would be a plastic wrapper around it. Not ones with an opening at one end, that you can easily open and remove the pin. But plastic you would have to tear off to reach the pin. So when buying off Ebay or trading for pins from 2000-2003ish you might see some with some of their industrial plastic still on.
