Just wondered if anyone collects Disney Buttons. I have acquired loads in the past month, mainly because I wanted 1-2 buttons and ended up winning the whole set. I know that the Disney Pins are favoured over the buttons, but is it a personal preferrence why people don't collect buttons? I think that some of them are made really nicely, and although I do prefer the pins, I think the buttons' designs are different and much more vibrant.

What does everyone else think?

I have several Alice in Wonderland buttons that I really like. I'm very picky about them. And they are not easy to find.

We have about 150 different buttons. I have some from the 1960's and beyond.
We also have some newer ones too but buttons do not come out in the mass quantities that pins do.
I think pins are just more accessible and also in the long run, far more durable.
But buttons are cool too....

Buttons are always fun. I have about 10-15 of them. Everything from Star Tours to The Haunted Mansion, Pirates, and Mickey. They make a nice addition to your collection.

I have a few buttons I pick up mainly at the auction once a month where I work. I don't go out of my way to purchase them on eBay or anything, but if I see them cheap I pick them up :)

I love Disney buttons. I recently had a friend give me a couple from when he was an Imagineer back in the 90's. One is the Tiki Room "Under New Management" button. I love it! I actually have some of my buttons on a cork board in the hallway.

Actually somewere I have a whole "tube" of disney buttons from the old Disney Commemorative Society. Used to be you couldn't give them away, as buttons were easy to produce and considered "cheap" with the exception of presidential collectables. But to each their own. I wonder what I ever did with those Beauty & beast buttons....

I too collect Disney Buttons if they fit my Dalmatian themed colection. I have about 30-40 of them right now. Some of them are just as hard to come by as pins. Right now they are all in a box as I haven't figured out how to display them.

Any Ideas?

I have a few Alice buttons that I bought at the watch shop on Main Street in DL, and I like them, mainly because they are little, like pins. I also have a bunch of random Disney buttons that someone gave me when she was cleaning out her closets; I don't know what to do with those, because I don't really want them but can't bear to just throw them away.
