Hello- Does anybody know when the next DLR pin meet will be? I'm gathering that since nothing is posted yet on their site that there won't be one in January . Thanks- Jason
 
Nothing about a PTN for DLR but I know a few members down here are planning their own meets in the next few months!
 
Thanks for the responses. Maybe DLR is sick of us . It can't be that difficult to schedule in advance at least 6 dates for 2013 for ptns at dlr.

I highly doubt DLR is $ick of u$ nor will they ever be $ick of u$... lol The people who organize the PTNs are probably just sitting on their hands waiting for someone in Orlando to tell them what to do.

should be scheduled for Feb. I think theres already a PTN pin listed for DLR releaseing in feb isnt there? DLR gets the even months right?

Date has not been announced yet....

BUT besides Seb and Marissa's event this sunday, theres an event for Feb at MyD Pins too. same weekend as some other room hopping pin meet.
 
Diablo... Even if they may or may not be $ick of u$, we'll still be buying pin$... With or without ptns . I just get the impression that DLR thinks that only people who live within an hour of the park go to the ptns. There were a few instances last year when they only gave 2 weeks notice before a ptn...which I believe is unacceptable for a business as huge as Disney. They know when their many banquet halls are available. It's not asking much to have 6-10 nights a year set aside for us.
 

I couldn't agree with you more!! It's a shame that DLR thinks most of their clients live within an hour or so from the park. I think this way of thinking has been going on forever with the SoCal Resident Only Deals they've offered.

But really, I think maybe cutbacks at DLR have affected cast members who normally handle the details and planning of these PTN events. Thankfully there are other opportunities in the area to meet and trade.
 
Diablo- Yep. I just have to laugh when at the start of every school year I know exactly when every day off, minimum day, parent/teacher conference, etc is going to be for the whole year...and I know my dentist appointments 6 months in advance...yet dlr has NO ptns scheduled so far this year, when they know when they'll take place.
 
Just another update. It's been 2 weeks since I posted this and still no announcement for any PTN's at DLR. Way to give those that live further than a hour from the park a heads up. February is a little more than a week away.

well March is better then never. I had started to hear rumors they were cancelling PTNs due to some problems with the Pin people and MAJOR problems with the Vinyl folk. I never mentioned it as it sounded like a doom and gloom rumor so I figure it was nonsense. Seems my assumption was correct!
