Hey friends,

I had posted about getting some people together to trade in the parks since i have not been to or traded in almost 7 years.
I was so happy to get replies of members who were wiling to come out and see me. I cant wait to meet you all.

Yesterday, I found out that the hotel in hollywood needed $500 a night deposit just for me to check in and the car rental needed $450. These fees would be refunded when i left the hotel and returned the car but it totally took away all my credit and spending money for our trip. with no other option, I decided that we would just go to DTD for a while to hang out and not go to the park.

I was in chat trying to find a way to be able to get park tickets cheaper or to get ideas from other members and I was not suprised because you are all so nice, but cried at the fact that every person started emailing friends, texting people and even offering me and hubby to stay in their home to save on hotel costs so we could buy tickets to the park. I am so happy to be part of this forum full of such wonderful people. Some of you are over the top in kindness and without even knowing me you put in effort to get 2 strangers into the park just so we could trade.

I want to thank this community and especially Amy for offering her home, Garret for trying to get people to sign me in, Kory for contacting friends to help me out, and Li , Nikki, Pauly, and Vicki for all the help you gave. I hope im not forgetting anyone with this very poor memory i have.

I dont have tickets yet but I love you all for doing so much at the last minute for me. I dont care if i have to sell my pins on the street to get in so i can meet up with all you awesome people. I am leaving for the airport in a few hours and when i get to cali i will update.

How many tickets do you need? I have a complimentary ticket I can donate, it's a one day park hopper and will allow you to go into both parks all day long. I can't get into the park because I'm on medical leave, but getting one of you in for free hopefully will help with your costs a bit! Please let me know. I might be able to get another comp ticket, but I don't have a printer to print it out.

Scratch that, I do have another comp ticket printed out but it's from my dad's account(he's also a cast member). I'll have to ask him when he gets home from work tomorrow to see if it's still active. Either way I'll do what I can to help you guys get in for free! Please PM me when you can and we'll see about meeting up.

Aww, sweetie I just wish we could have gotten those tickets for you. Whatever happens though, have a great time on your trip! We'll be thinking about ya and hoping things work out!

Now this is what this forum is truly about... Friendship, friends helping friends . To all of you that offered help especially echo, you are all awesome . Who said Cali people were all about themselves, stuck up and snobbish obviously doesn't know the true, sweet, genuine people that you are . Bless You All !

Of course! I get 4 complimentary tickets a year and I can't think of a better way to use a couple than helping a fellow pin trader and friend in need :) have an awesome time, do lots of trading in my honor! :-P and eat a churro for me!!!!
 
it is next week echo,
After a rediculously long day yesterday from 4 am till 8:30 pm we had a long full day. i died when i got back to the hotel and am just waking from my slumber.
if anyone is going to be at the parks today we are happy to meet up for some trades at lgm at around 4 until 7. thats if i can get out of this bed lol

Choose a place for dinner :) lol. We should be there at like 6:00pm-6:30pm so dinner maybe 7:00pm? Let us know :) Yay!!!!
 
Woo, this was a great story to read. I'm glad you were able to enjoy Disneyland! We're in DCA right now. We'll see about going by LGM later today for some trading and saying hi!
