Just curious. Did anyone order and actually receive the 110th Legacy Collection 1955 Mickey Mouse Club pin from disneystore.com? http://www.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=85738&sid=6260.1312736148.v3

I just received my order which contained another item, but no pin. It wasn't on the invoice, but I never received an email or anything. The only thing indicating that anything was amiss was a notation on those new packing labels on the inside of the box. It said something like slot empty.

I'm kind of bummed. I wanted that pin.

That pin has become a nightmare issue for me. I will post once DS and I have settled the issue. Suffice it to say I may be returning all 66 of the 110th legacy pins I have bought if they do not correct the situation which they have admitted is their fault.

What is DS.com saying, as I was thinking of ordering it, but might wait if there are headaches

Their responses are very Orwellian and they keep repeating "we (DS) are being presented with a lot of opportunities this week"
They are suggesting nothing, however they did agree that they should not have listed pins on the site if the new distribution center was not yet able to fill them in an ordered and swift manner. Also with the new set up call center employees can no longer call the distribution floor all they can do is send an email marked urgent.

Personally (just an opinion) I think the inventory for that pin was totally or partial lost in the move and that was not caught before it was listed for purchase.

Wow, that sucks. I hope they find them for you guys!

Any speculation as to what the "opportunities" with which they are being presented could be?

I asked why they kept using the word "opportunities" incorrectly because in the context in which it was being used all you needed to do was substitute the words such as issue, problem or failure and then the statement made sense. All I received was phone silence when I pointed that out. I suggested their marketing team should give them better buzz words and dialogue that did not insult a consumer’s intelligence. Everyone can see through a lie no matter how much of a spin a marketing department puts on it…I worked in marketing & promotions in casinos I know this game well.

I know this is a little off topic, but has anyone been able to find out where all the previous 110th Legacy pins went after the site changed? We all know they didn't completely sell out.

If your orders are short pins due to this move and the lengthy time they are taking to fill orders I strongly suggest keeping copious notes regarding every conversation you have with every individual at DS.com, including time, date, duration of phone call, asking for names, their location, etc...you all know what to do. I was misdirected several times by front line employees with plainly incorrect information and I had this in my notes which I could read back to supervisors, this has helped move the resolution of my pin problems forward, well some what....

Ask to speak supervisors at or above the Presidential *Support Team level. The regular call center supervisors will not call you back or follow through with your order search in a timely manner. *

I got one of my orders expedited overnight by being a squeaky wheel, I was polite but persistent. When the order arrived that's when I found the pin to be missing. *I am still calling everyday about the pin and my other orders. Until they are back on an even keel at DS.com be diligent in watching your order or you may not get all your pins. Do not assume like I did that when they tell you the pins are reserved for you and will not sale out that they have the correct information because they admitted today that all they see on their screens is a reserve for the pin but not an accurate availability. *

Ok the question I have now is, the UP pin will be released pretty soon. Do I stay UP Sunday night or wait UP Monday morning to order it and hope I get it? Can I piggy back on someones order and I'll pay for the pin and shipping prior to you ordering it. All I need is the single UP pin and shipping that one pin to me will be pricey. If I Tag along on someones order then it's the $5 or free shipping? Please anyone interested let me know so we can set up the paypal or I can even give pins for your trouble.

Please PM me if interested.

Same issue here. Made another order on 8/1 and paid with paypal. Order is in limbo, and payment has not cleared my bank. This after not receiving the D23 train set, only one pin. The 1955 mickey pin was a part of the order.

I expect the UP pin will be at least two or three weeks away from being released. The pins are more or less being released in the order that they are shown in the framed set and there are at least 12 more pins after this evenings release before the Up pin. Also, there is a quantity limit of one for each pin per order limit.
