We've had a whole wave of anniversary pins lately - The Incredibles, Up, now The Lion King. It's lovely, but I'm still miffed they didn't release one for Oliver and Company's 25th anniversary in November.

I might try and get this one but the difficulty of the Up release puts me off trying to be honest. I hope it goes better this time.
 
If anyone outside the EU wants one (considering they are not released in the US?) I can try to get one for them. I had no problems with the UP pin with my own country's store (thank god it's not the UK one), so I might get lucky on this one as well?
 
LION KING PIN!!!!!! Obvisouly came back to pin trading at the right time, looks like it will be the pin to kick start it all again!!!! So ahppy right now, just hope I can get it and a trader on the day
 
Screw Simba, the Hula song is the highlight of the movie! :lol:

It would make more sense for them to depict a more important scene or something on an anniversary pin, but this one is still cute as hell.
 
Maybe they decided to go with different characters since Simba and Mufasa are on the US anniversary pin?
 
I actually like te pin. I admit that a simba would be a nice addition to the pin as it is the main character. But if they always portray the main characters, every anniversary pin would be almost the same pin.
 
I adore the pin (yes, I am being horribly biased since it features my favorite character). My only gripe is that they made his lei in rainbow colors instead of all purple.
 
I was really excited when I saw this on the UK site just... but now I agree I wish it was Simba or more of an epic scene... but still definitely want to try and get one.

What time will it go on sale on the UK website? Midnight? or during the day time on the 5th?
