Why are they just releaseing these box sets? I like it when they just release the one pin as all these box sets are really expensive do they think we will buy all these sets? Where do they think we can get the money from to buy them all lol

I agree, I would like to see some individual pins too! I have not managed to buy any of the latest releases, and quite frankly am losing interest now, as the pins are just becoming unattainable. We need some slightly higher edition sizes, so everyone has a chance to buy them.
 
I have a fear that there's at least another few boxsets to come. Personally I'm not a fan. I love the individual pins, and they're much easier traders and much more affordable than having to buy a big £60 boxset, I haven't gotten any yet for trade and none for my collection. I'll be skipping this one too.
 
These box sets are cute but really pricey. I guess Disney are hoping people will buy them for Christmas presents though.

This is one of those sets that I just do not see selling though - 150 people to buy Lost Boys? I don't see it. If they'd brought out princesses, Lion King, Ariel etc. every week then I could understand considering they're basically guaranteed to sell them all.
 
I also miss the pins generally being single release. The occasional box set would be nice, but I wish these would have been spread out through the year rather than in one big clump at the end of it. I'm just really hoping that there isn't a Frozen and Tangled set to come out, especially the former if it had the first Hans pin. At this time of year I don't really want to spend so much money on myself for pins. A Hans or Flynn pin would be the exception though, so fingers crossed if they have got any of those planned in sets, they'll be coming out next year.

As for this actual set, I really like the picture on the box but I'm not a big fan of there being five pins just of Lost Boys and I think a Peter Pan set with him, Wendy and Tinkerbell included would have probably been much more tempting for people.

I hope they release a frozen, tangled and beauty and the beast pin sets next year, but spread out! After the Frozen Dolls and TLM release I have £0 haha Im hoping there isn't a surprise frozen release on the release day of the movie! Im still gonna check disneystore at 8am just incase :Lol:

Yeah, it will be stuck on the site forever like the Cinderella box set.
 
Seems to be they are alternating between box set and the single pin. I saw elsewhere on the forum another Cinderella, so expect that on 19th December? :lol: Hopefully there might be more for fans of the sidekicks pin in the run of December.
 
I dont get why they make this. It is nice but I dont think there are a lot of people interested. I think the Aladdin Boxed set was a lot more popular but that one is still available. I like the induvidual pins more. a lot cheaper and easier to trade.
 
I suppose being at Wdw with all these box sets out at least I've only missed the frozen jumbo I really wanted! Lol any way tomorrow is my last full day :cry: Good job really only have $85 dollars left after my frozen spending spree today lol
 
I have a theory... which might be more like my I.D that reality but here it goes.

They are releasing a box set every other time right now right? This is box set #3?

I think they are counting on christmas sales to get those things moved. Thats my theory. Ramping up for christmas. yup. uh huh. yup yup.
