DSF Carl & Ellie box of chocolates! Oh please, oh please, oh please...

Will someone be willing to pick me up a Carl & Ellie/UP box of chocolates pin at the Feb. DSF release. I will pay, of course, and will love you forever!

Good luck trying to find this pin! I'm also trying to find it but no luck yet

I must admit that today has been a rough day. (I had to say my goodbyes to my 14 year old puppy.) I am a little bummed that no one (yet :x has offered to try to help me get this pin. Especially when I return home to see that all of the kind DPF'ers that are willing to help people out with this pin were quickly taken up on their offers and I missed them. I realize that I am not well known on this forum - I'm still new and fairly shy. I also realize that this may be a tougher pin to get. I thought maybe if I explained part of why I collect UP pins and particularly want this one that someone out there may be more inclined to spend their time trying to help an internet stranger.

UP is my very favorite for many reasons - one (the most relevant to this pin) is that I totally relate to Russell. My parents divorced when I was very young. My Grandpa stepped in and helped to fill the role of Father for me. He was my best friend when I didn't have many - or any. We spent tons of time together just doing regular everyday things. He let me be his shadow and I was thrilled to be. Some of my favorite memories were of the trips we took ... our little adventures. He is a wonderful silver-haired gentleman with a strong jawline - he looks just like Mr. Fredricksen. (A happy, kind hearted version - more like at the end of the film.) He is my hero and has always been there for me. Anyway ... my Grandma (his Ellie) passed away last year and he and I miss her terribly. This pin just reminds me of them.

Anyway, if no one can get one for me I'll be ok. The world will still turn and I'll probably get one someday. I would rather not pay ebay prices if I can avoid it. If someone is able to get this pin for me I would be really, really grateful.

If I go to the release, I'll get you one. I feel your pain, I had to make the impossibly difficult decision to say good bye to my 19 year old kitty jellybean on the 4th I'm not coping well.

Oh Echo! You are so kind. I read your posts about Jellybean. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. It's amazing how hard it can be to say goodbye to a dear friend. Thank you so much for helping me with this pin. ((((hugs))))
