Because the original thing was about last weeks drama and the BT release. The MOD's were asked to shut down anything related to the BT release, and then in the interest of community any thread that went nutz about it after was also killed. To dicussing a release like tonights is not causing drama. They shut down the ones that were causing problems. so far, this thread has not.

Thats my thought on the matter anyway. I could be wrong, but i think thats why this thread is still up. This thread is so far harmless, no need to kill it.
 

I completely agree with the mods on that, pixie. YOu are right. However, I think it's complete BS that only some threads were shut down and others are still active from last week. There's one on the second page and on the fourth. If they're going to shut down one thread that was a joke they need to shut down everything like they told you pixie.

In all seriousness, lets just consider the BT release and thread a fluke. It was a big mess all around. And while each thread should be treated equally, we shouldn't get into the habit of censoring a discussion. Rather, prior to posting, EACH OF US should take a moment and think, "is this beneficial to the discussion, or will it cause problems?" Self- regulation people. Think before you type. It's not that hard to do.

As for this release, I wish I had the chance to go in the morning to line up. Good luck to you all, and leave a pin or two for me to pick up after work!
 
This thread is making me so hungry. I need an intern to brave the LA Friday night traffic and get me a hot dog. Any volunteers? I'll give you full course credit and a gold star.
 


Rather than complaining about past threads being closed how about we try to discuss pin related things in a mature manner... Let's try to keep these threads going for longer than prior ones before any issues arise... I am sure the MODs are struggling to determine why and when to close a Thread, but they hate having to close any I am sure as every closed thread makes us look like immature children who cannot control ourselves enough to talk and discuss our hobby...

Get over last weeks issues and move on...
 
i like to go just to go, for the Jessicas i didn't even buy any for myself i just went to have a fun sleepover with my friends and talk about the good old days, its my type of camping
 
so true! It's like when people create threads about others thoughts on drama on the forums and don't allow the drama to simmer down. I totally get you goofy_moe.

There is a franchise location in Knott's Marketplace if you want to try the hot dogs. The Knott's one has your standard soda fountain options plus Knott's boysenberry punch as an option. The Hollywood location is a 5 minute drive from DSF and only serves bottled sodas. They have a good selection of cane sugar sodas including Doc Brown's and Bubble Up.
 

Knotts boysenberry punch? Is it as good as it sounds? Thier boysenberry seedless jelly is the BEST!! Where is it from DSF and do they have the punch there?
