As a pin collector, I kind of hope so. I'm sure that those that like to make a profit off of the "extra" pins won't like it if it's permanent.

I expect for what they think will be popular releases. I thought TLM was 2 pp but changed to 1 pp at the last minute?
 
It may not be permanent, just permanent until they receive pins that have been ordered in larger edition sizes. As long as the number of people lining up exceeds the edition size, it will probably be the norm. Now, how high they are willing to go is the big question.
 
I agree with those that said they'll save it for big releases. It would seem stupid if they did 1pp for not popular releases, they'd just be asking to keep the pins on the shelves for eternity :lol: This Jessica release is DEFINITELY a "big" release.
 
DSF, if you haven't figured it out, THOR 2 pins should be all over LE500!! Not just the marquee. Heck, LE750 or LE1000 would sell out at 2 per person (as the rules of pin trading state an LE should be available.) I'd suggest LE500 for non-marquee and LE750 or LE1000 for the Marquee. When any new Marvel or Star Wars pins come out, they should be upped edition sizes too, just write that down now. You should do the same for Tangled from now on. All Tangled are 500+.
 
You kow how Paris does it? Everyone gets their chance to buy the pins, then if there are pins left over, they just let the line go around again for seconds. If DSF is worried about inventory issues they can just allow people to go through again. As long as they aren't terrible pins from a half-*ssed movie like Planes it shouldn't be a problem.
 
Best of luck everyone! I will be sleeping in, because I scheduled work this Saturday. What an odd thought. Getting to sleep in, on a Saturday, because I have to work.
 
Is it safe to park in structure across the street from El Capitan at 4:30 in the morning and walk to the theater by yourself? I will be coming alone and don't feel to comfortable doing this at that hour. Any thoughts, tips?

Sandy I should be getting there about 4:50 AM so if you drive to the structure around that time call me and I'll walk with you.

We should be arriving between 4 and 4:30 a.m. Angel can give you my cell phone # but there will be 3 of us there (walking from structure to el cap) and we usually park on floor/level #2

Are you sure? I know we go down one level, I thought that was 2. Maybe we go down to L3. LOL. I forgot. I just know we go up one escalator and we are on street level? Or is it two?
 
I'll be there too! Hoping to actually get to purchase. lol I'm nervous there will be way more people than pins there. :/
