DSF TLM Friday the 13th Release update

I'm happy it's 1 per. With it being a work day and kids back to school, it may just be a pretty easy release. I am still guessing 400+ people and probably 20+ kids pulled out of school for pins. Lucky for me it's our regularly scheduled bi-weekly Friday off. new PTD finally too, or at least I assume. Tweedles is taking it's good ol' time. If it waits till Friday I'm cool with that. Or if another unpopular character comes out so I can wait and get it Friday morning.
 
I wasn't going to let anything keep me from going because that marquee needs to be in my life, but of course as it usually goes for me and dsf releases, I can't go. I'll just add this to the ever growing list of dsf pins I'll probably never own.

Best of luck to everyone else. I like that it's 1 per person, I think that gives people a better chance of getting what they want.

People start lining up a few hours before 8. But keep in mind that as long as you are in line by 8am, you're guaranteed a wrist band and will be in the drawing. The earlier you get there does not increase your chances at drawing a good number.
 
Some like to show up early and treat releases like going to the airport, to be early and not have any surprise delays. Those are usually the people that live some distance away from Hollywood and have to pad arrival times, as we are dealing with Los Angeles's unpredictable road conditions. You never know when that extra hour or two of being early might save your butt.
 
Because it is a friday release, LA traffic is a factor. I am leaving the house fairly early in the morning to avoid some of the traffic. I am hoping to beat traffic and arrive early enough to get a bench to sit on and nap while my munchkins sleep in the stroller... At least until its closer to time and folks get noisey. lol
