Saw this posted on their facebook page -

UP PIN RELEASE "UP"DATE: In order to ensure everyone has an opportunity to purchase the new releases on Sat. Feb. 4th, we will be implementing new procedures. Please help us out, and share the information with all your pin trading friends.

1. Pin Traders will NOT be able to line up for the UP pins any earlier than Saturday at 5am. Security will be onsite to ensure no line is formed until 5am. No loitering will be allowed.
2. Saving spots in line will not be allowed, and security will be onsite to enforce.
3. No cutting.
4. No "in and outs" of line, except for bathroom use.
5. Vouchers will be handed out at 9:00am.
6. Once you have received the voucher you may no longer leave the line.
7. All pin traders must be present with their vouchers at time of purchase.
8. Cast Member discounts will only be valid for the cast member's allotted set.
9. Pin Trader Delights will be limited to two (2) per person per day. Phone orders will no longer be available for Pin Trader Delight Sundaes.
 
I called earlier today and the cast member told me that they are expecting way more than 150 and people have stated they are getting their on Thrs.

EDIT: lol just saw the first rule. nice lol so no Thrs people for those Thrs. people lol

LOL thursday, they would ure have a loooooong wait till Saturday wouldnt they I can see this release being dreadful
 
I bet there will be Over 150 people waiting AROUND DSF before midnight waiting for 5 am. At which point there will be well over 200 im sure. Wonder how they will handle over 200 people fighting for a spot inline?...

That is exactly what I am wondering. It says no loitering, but i can guarantee you people will be around the area. In their cars in front. Anywhere lol
 
They posted this on their Facebook page. I HIGHLY recommend voicing your opinion so they can hear us out. I personally feel that every rule works, except for the 5AM rule. This will cause people to rush over at 5am and cause altercations.
 
Wow this is kinda crazy . . . . I mean yay for enforcing the line - but not letting us line up til 5am? I just don't know how that is going to work . . . . I assume there will be WAY over 150 people waiting around for the 5am line and that is a lot of people all trying to get in line at once. I just can't see how this will work . . . .
 
I won't be there, but even reading it makes me nervous. I can def. see people getting into arguments. Knowing disney pin releases, I won't be surprise if people run lol
 
I totally want to go now. Then set up across the street and set up gambling pools. Like "What time will the first punch be thrown" or "How many people will show up" or "What time will the police show?"
 
its almost like they are going to need to start handeling this like they do with concert tickets.........
get in line at 5 am hand out #s at 5:30 go about ur marry way till an hour before the sale and pick a random # out of the same bag and get in line according to the # on ur wristband.

IE..have 151 wristbands in a bag start handing them out at given time come back just before the sale goes off and draw the last # out of the bag. Say the last one is 78....then #79 will be the front of the line and #77 is the end of the line.


so what do we think about this.......?
 


Or maybe they could start doing a lottery the way disney does its wristband events.
