Pin Release Update: Due to a character breakfast on Saturday morning, we will not begin sales until 10:00am.

We will be distributing wristbands for Saturday's release at the below times:

Friday:
Wristbands #1-75 7:00am-8:00am
Wristbands #76-150 7:00pm-8:00pm

If there are any remaining wristbands after Friday's distribution, they will be handed out at 9:00am on Saturday at the front doors.

Also, please keep in mind we will not pass out any more wristbands than stated, even if there are more people in line than 75.

Making two trips to DSF for one release is such a pain and a waste of gas. I'll just try my luck Saturday evening...
 
This is why I am worried that they will be doing wristbands on the 23rd for the gift box pins release on the 24th, which will coincide with the BATB PODM release at DLR.
 
Whoever came up with this two day process at DSF is certainly not thinking long term. Many loyal customers are choosing not to purchase anything from DSF and just stay home, especially in light of the cost of gas these days. Any Disney bean counters out there?
 

On the other hand, with the past few releases, they haven't passed out all of the wristbands, so anyone who showed up when the pins went on sale got everything!
 
I wasn't planning on going early to get a wristband. Saturday morning for me. Lots of the collectors will be at the WDI D23 event in the morning and then hit DSF afterwards

I would love to be able to get some WDI pins. How does someone get hooked up with these?! Do you have to be a castmember?
 

+1 We no longer attend any dsf releases because we cannot afford to not only pay the gas up and back, but we also have 2 kittle kids to haul with us. I am not going to pack up my kids at dawn, drop my hubby at work(one car home) drive to hollywood, get a wristband, drive home pick up hubby and do it all over again the next day just for pins. Sorry, not that much of an addict.
 
In another thread, the stated purpose of the wristbands was to address the problem of people cutting in line when everyone just lined up for pins on release day - one person would get there early and then "the friends" would show up close to DSF opening and line up with the "place holder" - not cool, but it has happened in the past...
 
I can never get the wristband because I work Mon-Fri and with gas being so high, and traffic, it's too much of a hassle to go down there two days in a row for pins. It was nice to be able to go pick up the Wreck It Ralph ones on saturday & not have to line up for them, just walked in & bought them like I'd been able to for years until the DSF line up for days before the release mania hit this year. The one good thing is I have saved A LOT of money because of the wristbands & lineups!
 
Not very many people here for the 7pm wristband distribution. Maybe 15.
Way more people for Kimmel - mostly women - Daniel Craig and
Stephanie Meyers (Twiight) are guests.

A total of 85 wristbands were distributed today. Wristbands #86-150 will be handed out Saturday morning at 9:00AM at the store's front doors.
