Ebay failure once again!
So I was bidding on a few items that had 5 days left on them. I forgot all about them as I figured they would go for a decent amount of money.
Two days ago I got a Second Chance Offer from ebay on one of the pins I bid on. It was for 7 dollars. Immediate red flag since I figured this pin would go for a lot more.
The pin in question is this pin
Pin 83925: HKDL - Pin Trading Fun Day 2011 - Deluxe 5 Pins Box Set - Stitch only
So anyway I read the pinpics information really quick and realized that they show it having 2 posts. The seller only showed 1 post.
So I decided to message the seller ( just to point out what a load of crap this was) and he sent the following back
Hello, have had some questions about the one post compared to two post. That is why the information is in the listing. From my understanding that does not make it a "scrapper". Most likely you are getting the information from PinPics. Which is not an official Disney site.
Sounds like you might have a concern with "scrapper" which is a miss used word in the pin world. If you are concerned with differences in pins due to remakes or factory changes then it might be best to purchase pins directly from the park.
Sorry that I won't be able to help you,
Now I realize that I may have misued the word scrapper but I was pissed that he was hustling pins on ebay. haha
So how funny is this! Forget the fact that there is only 1 post. He was offering the pin for 7 dollars when it had a huge WANT/TRADE ratio
Just thought I would share this rant!
I should have know too because the ebay sellers name I have seen come up before with other issues ( not sure if they were on here or not)
Thanks for reading!
