Fairytale Designer Doll Complete Set of 5 - what edition # did you get?
Based on a sampling of 3 (set / Snow White serial numbers posted so far), the Snow White serial number is the set serial number + 4496
I guess that means that 500 pre-order sets were sold and 4 sets were reserved for other purposes (archive, gifts to VIPs, etc.).
that only gets you to 5,000 though when the edition size is 6,000

Whoa, someone's a math genius! Serious, that's total brilliance and it's true for every set I've heard of.
I e-mailed them last night about it. I got this response:
"I’m truly very sorry to hear the COA's are not the same for each couple within the set. This opportunity was unfortunately a manufacturer error and as the sets are limited edition and now sold out, we are unable to send replacements. Again, I’m so very sorry for any disappointment or frustration this may have caused."
So, yeah, it's pretty much an admission that the factory messed up and no one checked on it before the dolls started to be individually released. Btw, that CS rep did not offer any sort of compensation for this error...
Wow, people have low #s. I got #493 and Snow White is #4986? I forgot. LOL.
But who has Snow White #493?! ^_^
Sadly, it appears that the DFDC Snow White & The Prince dolls that should have been part of our pre-orders were instead dispersed and sold either at the retail stores or online when they became available for purchase in August. The mix up appears to have happened at the factory and as such no one verified if complete CoA sets were being reserved in the cartons for the pre-orders.
Got that
I wonder if I posted on FB if anyone with Snow White #493 would come forward? And then how much would it be?!
EDIT: Sis called and all she got was a $5 gift card.
