Hey all. My first tripe to disney and as a pin collector was a huge success. Here are the pics of a majority of our acquisitions. Minus some we lost along the way sadly. Want a few opinions on these. Most were purchased however my daughter and I made a few trades and I could tell some. Well most of the pins on the cm lanyards were scrapers or fakes. I took a few up close for some opinions. I don't have much experience with scrapers so some might be real however I'll let you be the judge. And on a side note. A big huge thank you once again to sir David (docfish2u) for supplying me and the family with lanyards and a boat load of pins we adorned around the park and used as traders to get the wonderful experience it was to watch my daughter greet cast members and ask to politely see their pins. Proud dad moment

Thanks guys. Binsin I ended up with two if you would like to trade. Not sure of the value tho. Somone stopped me and told me it was a chaser?

I think some of them are bad sorry to say but if you love them that is all that matters. I LOVE the Duffy and yes we need that one too. I think it is a purchase with purchase but not sure. I also like the carriage pin. I think the D pins, the juggling clown and the Aurora rear view mirror are all bad sadly. The colored Tiana seems scratched which is a scrapper tell and the chaser Tiana I am wondering about the black in the eyes. I have never seen that before! Sorry to be the bearer or bad news. If you love them though keep them along with the memories they are associated with. Congratulations on your Disney trip.
 
My oldest loves them regardless so I've been putting them on her lanyard which accord to her is a do not trade lanyard.

Thanks but I only have a very small amount of traders, nothing worth the same as the Duffy completer at the moment!
 
Look at all the fun you had! :) Man, your daughters are braver than I am <<<still haven't traded with a cm! Lol! :anxious: Even if some of your pins are scrappers- you have so many good pins to enjoy and love! Love the pictures! :) Thank you for sharing!
 
Oh my, what a beautiful princess you have there!! Happy you had a great time! I've traded for scrappers many times without realizing it until my husband told me they were scrapers, so you did pretty darn well :bigthumb:
 
Pensfanatic, you're daughter is adorable!! Definitely braver than I would've been at that age, high five for her!
 
Your new collection is wonderful - it sounds like you guys had so much fun getting into trading and watching your daughters enjoy themselves! I especially like your Minnies as Tink and a Ballerina, as well as Cinderella's coach! Good luck with your trading adventures : )
