Can you please tell me where to find this Forum Rule:
FORUM RULES

Under no circumstances is anyone to reply to a post suggesting that the item can be found cheaper elsewhere. It is the buyer's responsibility (not other forum members) to look for the best deal. Members are trying to sell their items in a safe environment without fear of others trying to undercut their sales.

Was it meant to apply to this below and if so how? Does this rule apply to everyone?
I only see 2 that have sold, one for $270 and one for $374. Why are you not bashing the person selling this frame on this board for $375? And he states he is undercutting Ebay. At least you can say there are 2 happy buyers on Ebay.

You were asking why we're not posting that an item on a sales board be sold cheaper, and that it is available elsewhere for a lower cost. You asked a question, I answered it. :) In the future, if you have a problem/question about a forum rule, please message a mod. Don't further publicize your post by starting a new thread. Thanks!

No, I was not asking a question about the price. I was simply stating facts about the price. I was asking why the bashing was going on to certain people and not others for the same thing. I did not state it was available somewhere else for cheaper, I said 2 others have sold w/ the price. (The same thing swim2sea said) So what makes it okay for them, but not me? Bear with me, but I am newer to this so I could still use where to find the forum rules. And if I started a new thread, I was unaware. I thought all I did was reply to the quote. Thanks

Yes you did say they could be found cheaper whilst referring to a member here's sale thread

Ok so now you really have confused me, so your saying, it is ok for someone to post on the board what Ebay is selling them for and how they are killing us. But it is not ok for me to mention the lower price of what it sold for? Also keep in mind I was not the first one to mention how much ebay was selling them for. And it is ok for someone to state they are going to undercut ebay prices? Once again I did not suggest it could be found cheaper I merely stated a fact of what 2 sold for. No different then what swim2sea stated "Another frame just sold on eBay for $375. They are killing us. I hope they get what they deserve and they get their come-uppance. It's sad they feel the need to take advantage of the situation". If that's not a suggestion of what they are selling for else where, I don't know what is! Once again please direct me to where the rule can be found?

It's because you mentioned that thread selling the frames here when you said ebay has sold them cheaper, had you not mentioned the seller here on the forum it would be a different story. You insinuated that the seller here should/could be avoided in favor of ebay sellers and that we should ream the forum member.

Of course that is my personal take on it
Here is the thread with the rules

Please note the word suggesting. You mention the seller here is selling for more than what you have seen sold on ebay, which is suggesting people here go to ebay to buy it instead of that sellers thread

Swim2Sea did not mention the seller here who is also selling frames, she merely said that the frames were going for ridiculous prices on ebay.

Thanks for the link to the rules, I appreciate it.

So this person can state this information, but I can not!

You might be able to get a good/better price on ebay too. It's always handy to be able to check closed listings - for example, there have been two of the framed sets sell for around $270 (one was $270, one $276). There have also been some sell higher. The rest appear to sell for roughly the same price as here.

Honestly.you should either just drop it or private message a moderator. The mods read the threads and act accordingly, you have no way of knowing if she was pm'ed by a mod or reprimanded in any way.

Oh, so I should just drop it!! So then it is ok for others to get away with this. This must be a friend of yours I take it. I have no clue how to send a PM to a Moderater. I assumed this help desk was answered by a Moderater. I guess not though. This board is a JOKE!!!!

*sigh* I'm only gonna comment how to address a moderator,as this is the help area and I am trying to be helpful

You click the moderators name, and a dropdown menu will appear,in the menu will be the option to private message them. That is how you can PM a mod.The Mods also have the title moderator in their info.

And if you wish to report a post, click the little triangle with the ! mark in it which is on the bottom-left of every post.It will take you to a screen where you can fill in the reason you are reporting.

We are still not sure what your question is.

That forum rule is meant to prevent a forum member from posting in another member's sale thread, suggesting to anyone interested in the items listed, that they can be found cheaper elsewhere.

We understand that prices for pins do and will happen in general discussion, but there is no reason to seek out and "bash" another member for prices they are wanting.
