Hi everyone, I hate it when Disney changes dates on me, this is the second time hubby has taken off work to do something with me and both times dates have changed for an event or pin release, Arg!

Anyway, does anyone have any idea which location would be best to pick these up at?

i don't know if hubby is going to approve of me doing another 6 hour drive this month, been at WDW most of the month.

...... But I'm sure going to try, I don't want to have an issue not being able to complete this. I will try to pick up a few if its not crazy, I know there are some around here who are wanting this pin too.

please send me some pixie dust that I am able to sneak away for a 6 hour trip :anxious:

Do you think DTD will be a good place to find it? I recently sprained my ankle badly and if I can sneak out I can't physically run all over the parks.
I need a one place stop. Wonder if contemporary might get it, that's also an easy in and out.

I hope there's no camping out for this pin. I am going to see if I can pick up a couple extras, but at this point I'm not even sure I can pick one up for me and daughter. (Arg, why must she insist on having her own collection for stuff?) lol

that sucks you hurt yourself and Alexa is out of town too dont know when she will be back. My husband said he would get one but he can only get to DTD after 4pm and I think it will be gone by then. maybe contemp I do not know

Thanks, i fell at disney down some stairs last Tuesday, some little kid tripped my accidentally, and i dove onto the concrete in order to not fall oh him. (I don't think he would have survived)Yeah, Alexa asked me to pick one up for her, I am sure going to try. My problem is that if I want to get there by opening due to traffic, I have to leave home in the wee hours. I'm wondering if I made it there by noon, if we could find them, thinking is that if I leave at 9 am I could make it there by noon, and avoid rush hour.

I will try, but again, no idea!

Oh no, Mahrii! That sounds like a nasty fall! Good luck trying to find that pin. From the sounds of things, it could be pretty popular. I've never been to WDW for a pin release, thankfully, so I can't help you there. But do take care of yourself, girl! :)

When was their a date change? It has always been announced to be on the 18th and it looks like it is till on the 18th, of October that is, so curious where/when is the date change?

PS - I think it should have been on the 13th of every month to keep with the theme of the event, but hey, that's just me.

Good luck.

When we went to Frontierland Trading Post for the Haunted Mansion poster pin, they never received them. Fortunately, we found them at Epcot on our way back to BCV for our flight.
it was strange because the Trading Post did have another pin that was released that same day.

I wasn't sure if pins releases at the parks only happened on one day of the week. I can only recall that recently with DLR that most of them happen on Thursday, especially with PODMs. I do notice that releases never really happen on a weekend and that may prevent lines for pins blocking weekend tourist. I prefer them being releases at the park regardless of which date because it gives better chances of people getting one rather than being released during an event like they did with Cruella at Mickey's Circus Event.
