A photo is not a pin. It's a photo. Maybe even a piece of art. But yeah, not a pin.

Question: If the enterprise goes belly up, what happens to the ledger, verifiability and your pin pictures? Too much seems outside of one's control.

In my experience, digital items can disappear without the 'owners' doing anything. I think of digital books or movies that disappear from your device. Then there are technology changes that make old tech inaccessible. Thinking of video games... CD-Rom... floppy disks. I like more control than digital offers. On the flip side physical items can break or become damaged, but still feel like I have more control of a physical item.
 
That is a great question. Since the Disney Pinnacle app uses blockchain technology the "Digital Pins" will still exist on the "Flow" blockchain even if the app disappears. At that point Disney and/or Disney Pinnacle should provide another app or compatible wallet to access them.

It doesn't mean I have that actual $50 bill to spend. It means I have a picture of it. And now you can have a picture of it as can anyone else who copies it. And still none of us can spend it. Because it's a picture. Not an actual $50 bill.

A digital pin is no more of an actual pin than an ISO list is a collection.

That said, it's your money to spend and if you want to spend it on digital pictures of stuff that anyone else can copy/paste for free, go for it!

Now you can just ignore the facts but clearly Disney is explaining to the world their “story telling” is moving into a new direction with “Digital” assets. I know it’s early so most people are in denial or just don’t want to accept it. Disney has been in this technology for over 3 years now with VeVe Digital Collectibles and now Disney Pinnacle with licensed Disney “Digital” Pins.
