So people have been fired for leaking info on this forum? I've read lots of leaks on here and Tumblr (to name 2 places), but I've never heard of anyone getting fired over it.

Mind you, I don't work for Disney, so this concept sounds absurd to me.
 
Not much Frozen stuff left in our local store today.

When I got my animator dolls a couple of weeks ago they had loads, today they had about 5 maximum. I was hoping to get Kristoff & Tink but they didn't have them so I will order them online. Its good to see the new merch popping up on the UK site, if anyone see's the Elsa mug come back up can they post here? I saw the post to say Anna was back so fingers crossed she should be on soon.
 


I dont think it is because they don't think your information is credible, I think it is just because like you said people can just get excited and then start speculating again and just forget some the important things you said because they just slim read your post. It does happen a lot and can understand why you would be frustrated.

But don't let it get to you, as people do appreciate informative posts like yours but not everyone necessarily posts on the forum unless they have something credible to contribute as well.

I agree with you too in that if they were to do a Kristoff LE doll it would only be a surprise release during the bluray release. At this point in time I definitely think it likely as Disney does love releasing surprise releases so I would definitely be on the look out for more releases nearing the bluray release date.
 
Imagine if they just shocked us all and released a 17" Oaken instead of everything hahahaha i'd buy him in a heartbeat!!! I wish there was merch with him
 
I don't think we'll ever get a Harrods set again, since

a) that store had just opened and it was like a celebration thing.
b) The dolls didn't sell well. I think someone mentioned here last week that there were still 6 dolls left. That's well over a month after the release. While with the regular ones, they sold 5000 dolls in 12 minutes.

I really hope that Elsa's cape is really really long, compared to what it was in the movie. It'd be kinda interesting to see what they're going to do with her hair too. I'm looking at you Disney merchandising, stop your long hair fetish, I don't think it'll look good on Coronation Elsa!

I highly doubt they do another Harrods set. The set was released to commemorate the opening of the Disney store within Harrods so is most likely a one off. Unless they start doing exclusive releases every now and then (but doing another of frozen is too soon).

Also so as mentioned by lordofanime the Harrods set is still available which I believe is the case due to the high price point of the dolls and the little difference between that set and the original set. Since the release of the original individually boxed dolls I believe that people no longer found the need the buy the Harrods set, like I said before those that would have wanted them have already bought them so the remaining stock now will only sell if they go on a discount or if so someone passes by the store, sees the dolls for the first time and buys it.
 
Random thought: Would Elsa be wearing her gloves? Or would they take her LE down the Snow White route, and have her hold the two coronation objects? Because as far as I know, Disney dolls with gloves usually look like oven mitts... Which i don't think will look too good on Elsa.
 
itd be amazing if she was holding her coronation objects!! Yes i agree gloves look a little strange :lol:

At least for Anna she is wearing mittens in the film so it doesnt matter hehe
 

Highly doubt that. They don't put that much effort on these dolls nowadays. I actually think they might skip the gloves. would be interesting.
 
The CM who leaked the photos of the Ariel LE doll allegedly did get fired over the summer. So it is very serious, and they can find you posting. Its photos that are the big, huge no-no from my understanding. We aren't supposed to take pictures of anything upcoming that we get in the stock room.

And posting information from "your sources" can also land someone in trouble. This is what I'm getting at. So if you are blessed to find information from someone, and they ask you not to share, please be courteous and don't do so. I know I have certainly learned that lesson.

Disney is a big corporation. If something gets out that they don't want, they will most likely track you down, even on a forum.

I do feel picked on, sorry. I'm going through a lot. I thought I was being nice but I still feel an aggressiveness. I think I'm going to be taking a break from at least this section of the forum. I don't feel valued as a doll collector since many new people joined. I feel my opinions and statements aren't being taken as valid/or valued. I'm not going to risk my job or the job of anyone else by even hinting at anything anymore, and it seems that its not needed anyways, because someone else is always willing to leak. But I care about the Company, and I'm not going to be held liable for anything ever, and am not going to risk it in the future. I hope that others feel the same.

This whole thing has been beyond frustrating to me. I have gotten a few PMs of different kinds, from people begging me to share pictures (?) to people yelling at me for hinting without giving away all the information. And that is just...ugh. I regret ever posting anything. :/ I love dolls, but this isn't fun for me anymore.
 


people have been yelling at you for not sharing info??? Thats disgraceful !! I worked at WDW and I know how strict Disney are about keeping this stuff secret! I have heard rumours that they actually hire people to hunt down CM who leak stuff and check that CM who are friends with characters aren't talking about it on FB as thats also a big no no! People need to respect that. The fact that they would rather risk you losing your job, so they dont have to wait a few more weeks to get info is actually shocking and pathetic behaviour! Im sorry you had to deal with that!! Please dont leave this part of the forum <3!!

I love reading your opinions and hearing what news you have that you can share
 

Unless the person posting the information actually states where they got the information from there is no way that Disney will be able to blame a cast member for it as not all information is obtained from cast members.

I can understand the frustration and you will always come across it on the Internet because unfortunately there are no regulators on the Internet telling people how they should act or behave. Sorry to hear that you are leaving but I learned a while ago that if you are posting most people will be thankful and are nice you will also need to expect those that will always have something negative to say.
 
I know the Disney PR department has an on line presence on most of the boards, reviews everything and has in the past requested information be taken down. Some of it has to do with information getting out before CMs are notified so when Guests ask about the new products they can't provide answers because they just don't know...this makes Disney appear to provide a less than helpful experience to Guests.

"Teacher, Elysionsprincess doesnt have a hallpass". I for one am grateful for Elysionsprincess, and the non life changing information(not meant to be an insult)on the upcoming dolls, I cant believe people even care enough to PM to yell at you over this. Funny thing is you never actually "revealed" any undercover secrets at all, there were two other people on here who 1. said we should look out for Jan 10th, and 2. revealed the dolls were Anna and elsa ( none of which were you)
