Oh, but only 500 of each for all of Europe, last time we got 1000 and there were half the number worldwide... I hope we don't have problems getting hold of them, especially as we don't get a chance at a pre-order!
 
Im so worried now :/ the movie is so popular now they are gonna sell out so fast I dont understand why they've halved how much we're getting when the edition size is double..
 
now these are what Limited Edition disney dolls should look like.
thank goodness they changed Anna's bangs and we didn't get another barrel curl, and hooray for the larger edition size.
still not 6000 though- which may mean we have to wait for Aurora to see if the larger edition was only for Ariel.

my only complaint is Anna's (and to a lesser extent Elsa's) box pose... and the boxes themselves because they lack the clean lines of the first set. just my opinion, I think it's a tad distracting from the dolls.
no accessories once again, but this time I don't mind because they look so decked out

I wish we had an official date! And i hope for a link ! Im so worried now, I cant believe they've halved it! Sure they didnt sell out fast last time...but the movie hadnt even been released!!! We should ask for it to be increased on their facebook!
 
Will be staying up till 3a.m next week! Wasn't able to get my Elsa on the site the first time. I will be getting one this time!

Im definitely going to try to get both Elsa and Anna this time. Im so relieved that its a presale.

Now how to earn some extra cash.
 
Hum .. they usually do a villain with the DVD release, as a surprise. I wonder if they still have plans to do a "surprise" doll? Maybe it'll be Kristoff? GAH, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. This is going to end up being the most LE dolls released for one movie. Actually .. I think it already is.
 
So funny how my CMs get their info from me most of the time..besides the manager at my Disney store, no one else knows unless I tell them lol...at least I know my store will be getting some so I'll skip online purchases again so others have better chances I'll go in store for this set also good luck everyone!!!

I would guess that if the overseas (non-North America) market is getting 500 of each doll, then the US pre-orders will technically be for the remaining 4500 for each doll. The pre-orders go until all of the available stock is spoken for. I am sure that there will be some reserved for shipping and quality blunders, especially after last November's messy release, but supposedly very little stock is actually reserved for that.
 

I am more inclined to think that there won't be a surprise release, but you never know! Based on past trends prior to The Little Mermaid LE dolls, there were only up to 2 dolls per release and with Anna and Elsa, and both at LE 5000, it seems less likely that we'll get a third... But they did make LE Prince Eric last year, so... maybe?
 

Not all of the 4500 will be online. Stores will also do pre-orders, so they should get an allocation...maybe double what they got for the first set?
 

Thanks Shiva, I couldn't quite remember if they sold the whole allocation at the time or kept a set amount back to sell in March when the rest of Europe put the dolls on sale. Do you guys think they always had the intention of the new 5000 LE or were they waiting to see how the first set sold and with the movie being released.
