Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
So I just thought of something and I dont quite understand why Disney did this. During the movie and as dolls (except singing elsa) Elsa is either afraid/sad/ or temporarily excited/confident. Why is it that most of her merch has that smirk? Personality wise she is always really sweet and caring, so I feel like that coy smile she has really doesnt fit her character and actually makes her look kind of cocky.

Out of the 100+ images you could have used, you use 2 that are not in the movie? Wth!!

So we didn't get an Elsa exclusive one and we got the "bad nose" Kristoff one....

Hi, I'm a long time lurker. I'm very shy. I've loved Disney since I was a child. I love collecting dolls. I hope I'm able to get Anna tonight. I bought Elsa last year, and didn't get Anna. I wanted Anna's Snow gear one more. I would like to join the Facebook group. How do I join, I'm new to Facebook, I've always used Tumblr. Thanks for helping.
 

Both Anna, Elsa, and Rapunzel, Merida too, all have that look in merchandise and promo art. I think it is just the popular thing right now. It is like they are saying, "Look, this princess is not like every other princess from the past! She is sassy and cool and trendy but quirky, and she has a handle on life and knows what "it" is all about".

However, in the movies I don't think any of them have this expression very often and when they do it is for a good reason. Merida might be the only one who is a little smug because she thinks she knows best, but Rapunzel, Elsa, and Anna all were more fragile and not smugly confidant.
 

Maybe it is the trend right now lol With meridas "adult" art im fine with the smugness, but her toddler doll? That grin is the only thing keeping me from buying her! In the movies Merida was a sweet, innocent little girl, but that sly smile reminds me of her brothers, not her. It just feels like disney is really steering off from the personalities. Rapunzel had a few smug moments, like when she locks Flynn up in the closet, but it just seems so off with Elsa.

i agree on the one with anna from the first time in forever jumping with the painting but i want to see one with her eating the chocolate

also I would love one of the shop keeper (probably wouldnt happen)

i don't know i really wanted one of elsa from let it go when she lets her hair out

Oh you're right! I don't collect the Toddler dolls so I hadn't noticed. Merida was a sweet innocent little girl. She shouldn't be so young and smug. And you're right about Rapunzel too, although I don't think she IS a smug person. But Elsa was nothing like that at all.
 
Could anyone try to buy me the Anna or Elsa LE doll in trade for the Frozen Deluxe Doll Gift Set and Mini Doll Set ($100 as well)! I accidentally goofed and bought doubles of both and would love one of the LE dolls instead of doubles!
 
Okay, is anyone else's Disney Store being realllly weird about this preorder? I have a few local stores, and NO ONE will tell me how many they're getting. And they get this weird tone in their voice when I ask about it, like hesitant.

Does anyone who works for DS have any idea what the weirdness is all about? DS announced it on their offical FB page, so it's no secret.
 
Well, I decided to go ahead and try for Anna tonight and I won't be super heart broken if it doesn't happen. Maybe I'll love her more in person Good luck to people tonight! I personally think more will be going for Elsa instead of Anna, so I'm sort of glad this time that it won't be as hectic as buying the icy dress Elsa. Still, it's gonna be a 3am wake up call for me -_-

Have you thought about returning it to your local Disney Store (in case a trade doesn't go through)?
 

I haven't had any issues with my store in Calgary. The CM I spoke with was really excited and told me right away that they would be getting 20 of each. She sounded confident that I should have no problems getting them, but I'm still going early to be safe.

now i need some help. I am in a predicament. Elsa is my favorite from Frozen and I do believe I love her as much as I do Ariel which is BIG lol so I don't know if I should get a duplicate to open of Elsa or of Anna to match my opened Snow Queen Elsa!

Which would you guys pick! thanks in advance lol
 
My toddler Kristoff arrived today. I cannot decide if I love him or not. There's nothing wrong with him, and he's very cute, but I can't decide if he's cute enough to keep. I have all of the others, and I just BARELY have enough room for all of them, plus Tink. And he really doesn't fit in. Sort of love that big nose though.

Decisions, decisions...
