@Cheyenne yeah i think thats what I'm gunna do!!! haha thanks for reassuring me haha as its getting closer I'm starting to rethink but Elsa is the choice! but ugh I want Anna too. Im almost thinking a may get her duplicate as well although that a LOT of money...hmm i dunno but I agree Elsa is definitely up there with Ariel which is MAJOR!

@NightmareMermaid You know I noticed that as well. My best friend from high school LOVES Ariel as well and we saw Frozen together and agreed on how much we connected with her. I find it funny cuz theyre both based on Hans Christian Anderson characters but really other than that I dunno. Its just a thing I guess!

There is something magical about them both, Ariel will always be my number one, no changing that, but Elsa has turned out to be a very, very super special character for me as well. She is definitely up there on my list with Ariel, Aurora, and Rapunzel ♥

agreed :D haha Ariel has been my number one since before I could even speak lol and she always will be but Elsa has perched herself right beside her for years to come lol!!!

also Im glad you were successful in ordering the LE's hopefully there will be no issues this time!!! Good luck to everyone else!!!! seeing as I must "wake up" in 2 hours I am gunna get as much sleep as i possibly can! nighty night all

That's funny :) When I was watching Tangled in the theaters I noticed that Ariel and Rapunzel looked kinda similar. Ariel isn't my favourite (I like her and everything, but she's my oldest sister's favourite), I always liked Cinderella when I was little (and Belle, but she was my other sister's favourite and I wasn't "allowed" to like her too lol) then I really liked Jasmine (I really liked Nala, Pocahontas, and Mulan too haha), and Rapunzel became my new favourite, and now Elsa. Sleeping Beauty always scared me when I was little, where Maleficent turned into a dragon and Philip stabbed her, it made me cry. BUT I will say that I always loved Aurora's voice, it was absolutely gorgeous. Maybe you like Elsa so much because, among other things, she's got a powerful singing voice. And Ariel did too! You like the songstresses :D
 
Luna, Aurora I think has the most beautiful voice of all! Followed by Ariel and Elsa whom I like both in different ways. I'm probably in the wee minority, but I also love Snow White's voice. She has some great staccato high notes and beautiful songs even if she is a bit nasal.
 
Has the Disney Store website updated for anyone? I am still waiting to see if they have the pre-order for the DVD. I already got the dolls from the links . . .

I loved Aurora's voice, and Jasmine's singing voice (oh how I adore Lea Salonga) and Pocahontas' singing voice and Rapunzel's singing voice and Elsa's singing voice xD I really loved Mandy Moore and Idina Menzel before they were Disney Princesses so I think that helped me love their characters. I'll admit, I really didn't like Snow White's voice at first, but it's really growing on me. I like it better without the background music (like on the singing doll) and I had Whistle While you Work stuck in my head not that long ago. I really want to love Snow White a lot but I never had it growing up (same with Sleeping Beauty, I had the book and it scared me so we waited until I was older to get the movie) and so I'm not really attached to her as much as the other girls. I usually got my pjs and dolls and everything as each movie came out, I think Ariel was my first doll haha! I love Snow White in Once Upon a Time though, and technically ABC is owned by Disney so I'm counting that lol.

I think a lot of the Frozen stuff came back online. I wish it was cheaper to ship to Canada, it was already $40 to send Anna so I didn't bother ordering anything else :( Maybe in the end of summer/fall I can stock up on stuff when the DFDC set comes out

Lol, I think that is one of the things that subconsciously attracts me to certain characters. I love music and I love to sing so it is no surprise to the ones that I get hooked to. Ariel has been my biggest love since I was a baby, but before Ariel came out, I was mesmerized by aurora and her gorgeous voice, Mary Costa is iconic! Rapunzel stole my heart with her warm heart, that movie is just awesome and then Frozen is just so magical and reminds me of my amazing sisters whom I adore ♥ I love the princesses in general, but these are my favorites ;)
I love how you said I love the songstresses my husband says that matches perfectly, lol :D

Ariel is my all time favorite character but I prefer Anna to Elsa. I just connected and fell in love with Anna the second I saw the trailers for Frozen. While I do love Elsa, I just don't connect to her as much. So I ended up preordering Anna and not Elsa. Maybe I'm just odd...

I don't think that's odd at all. I was really surprised when I went to see the movie at how much I ended up loving Anna. I guess I underestimated her character in my mind. She really proved to be as equally awesome as Elsa from my perspective, and I love her journey in relationships and finding true ones at the end - both with Kristoff and Elsa. They really did an impressive job on both princesses :)

Took me a while to say, screw it Aurora is my favorite too, my sister doesn't "own" liking her. And with Frozen the first time I saw it I felt I had to be Anna, because she is somewhat similar to me and Elsa is somewhat like my sister. Then I re-watched it and realized that while I never shut my younger sister out (I have both a older & younger sis) Elsa is like me as a person, it goes beyond the relationship aspects.

Hope everyone that wanted one got their dolls, I got mine at 12:01 (Elsa) and 12:03 (Anna) thanks to the awesome Polaris!
 
I asked UK store if they will be getting lithos and they said

I can't believe that the Singing Elsa doll on the Disney Store sold out that fast as well. They must not have stocked very many.

I think there will be a pin set, like with Brave, but I don't think any merch like the Art of Ariel collection. I do think new merchandise will be released though. It happened with Brave as well.
