Yes!! I so love "love is an open door" - I didn't think I would enjoy it much after knowing how the Anna and hans story panned out, but it actually ended up being one of my favorite parts of the movie. Anna's cute in going thru the motions of initially what she imagines love should be, and meanwhile Hans is in a diabolically dashing way gearing to take over her kingdom. Aw? :lol: I thought it was funny where I read somewhere that it's kind of the villain song for Hans - cutest villain song disney will ever make I imagine- like an upbeat "be prepared" xp

How could anyone not love Olaf?? :lol: The initial previews made me think I was just going to have to muddle through his parts, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised by how much I adored him! I don't know if he will find a place on my desk tho (sorry nieces :p) ... Maybe the Jim shore figurine.. *lightbulb*

Same with me as far as the singing dolls - they seemed like a cute idea, but I never put out the money for them because I just didn't see a place for them in my collection (I don't have a real big doll collection- not enough space sadly), and they just didn't stand out to me much. Enter frozen :D I'm really impressed with their detail!

I just got their doll stands today - yay!! XD

That's how I thought I would feel, after finding out about Hans, but instead I found myself still enjoying the song, and singing along with it. I never thought of it being a villain song, but that's exactly what it is. :lol: Anna and Hans where so adorable singing it, I just knew I would love it. I agree it is the cutest song.

I felt the same way, I thought I would really dislike Olaf, but I found myself enjoying, and laughing at a lot of things he said. Oh yeah, the Jim shore figures are so beautiful. I don't have many, but I would love to have some more of them. I don't know if hes made one with Anna, and Elsa yet? I would love to have one if there is one.

I agree the frozen ones really impressed me a lot. I wish they would do a better job with the other princesses. I would love a Jasmine one, shes been my favorite princess, since forever, but I really don't like the singing dolls they made for her so far.

Aw, I need to get stands for my singing dolls as well, they just lean on a wall in my room, they fall constantly though. They look so adorable in stands. Do you mind me asking where you bought your stands?

We got a memo about the classic Frozen dolls yesterday at work, and we're not expected to see any Elsa or Anna until mid-February. I'm not sure about the singing dolls though.

I wondered the same thing too- I actually almost didn't buy her because I would have rather she be in her coronation outfit. But she really is a pretty doll nonetheless <3

And sure! Anna, as she was "fetchingly draped against the wall", complied to a photo shoot =P




Both she and Elsa have joints at their elbows and knees, so they are pretty easy to pose in my opinion. Here she is in a sitting position on the side of my desk:



She can also have her hands behind her back (my normal pose for her when she's standing), and still sits pretty gracefully:



Hope this helps!! I'm really impressed with the overall quality of them, and I love being able to have Elsa in her winter dress since I missed out on the other ones. I prefer Anna's coronation dress over her winter garb, but I was pleasantly surprised with how pretty the dress still ended up being on the singing doll ^.^

That happened to me back when I was new to forum. I didn't use quote function but instead addressed someone with "at" symbol in front of person's name. Did you do that? In my case, it never did post. I don't know why it needed to be moderated--perhaps the bot thought it was email address and was programmed to send automated message? Have no idea.
 
Do you guys think we'll be getting another frozen snowglobe sometime in the future? I'm really hoping to collect all frozen snowglobes! :)

I hope so. If they do make another I really want it to be a larger, more detailed one like they always used to make. I expected more from them than the one they released, especially since Frozen is the perfect movie for a snow globe.

I agree! I'm hoping for a super detailed one too!! I love love my snowglobe, but I was a tad dissapointed that they didn't do something more with it... Considering the movie is all snow haha!
 
Have you guys ever seen the hallmark Disney Christmas singing figures that they release? They are wirelessly connected so that when one plays the other starts.

I want disney to do the same with the singing dolls.

Imagine Snow White and her prince
Aurora and Phillip
Belle and the beast
Aladdin and jasmine
Flynn and rapunzel
Anna and Elsa

It could be the Disney singing couples or something like that....

Why do i not work for Disney merchandising :'(

The hoop nooooooo why did they put the hoop there!! This dress didn't need a hoop they should have put a fuller underskirt in it!!! The hoop is so obvious :/

YES!! Hopefully this is just a prototype and they're still working on it! It looks like the prototype image anyway!! I know the other princesses have big underskirts full of lace etc. so it would be weird if they skimped on Anna's and didn't give her the lace etc, when they've gone all out on all the other princesses!!!
 
Is there a reason why disney doesn't hire teenagers as face characters?

I mean, it would make sense for a 18-21 yr old to play ariel, anna, elsa, and the others.

I mean.. I don't know about you, but it puts me off to see an adult woman being Ariel, just cause her character is supposed to be 16 years old.

Disney World does hire girls starting at age sixteen but Disneyland doesn't. It's an availability thing and living locally and being able to commute. I don't think she looks too bad, it's just poor quality and crappy lighting. The actress is very pretty but the amount of make up Disney makes them wear will make anyone look older.
