Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
I've seen the singing dolls in the Disney store though. Didn't know they were so popular

apparently they are getting sold out whenever they appear on the website and are reaching the hundred dollar mark on ebay. but hopefully disney stores re-stock.

yeah, mattel's face molds and details are just off. :l

You know what would be amazing?

Selling a coronation Anna and and Hans set where they wirelessly connect. when one sings, another sings.

Hallmark can do that, so I'm sure that Disney can!

Oh my goodness, that would be amazing!!

I honestly truly wish that if they do end up releasing the singing dolls again that they release a new anna singing in her coronation outfit. I would love to have a 17" coronation anna represented in my collection somehow, and I highly doubt I'll be able to afford the limited one anytime soon. Plus, I mean, she is singing that song in her coronation dress!

Has anyone seen any of the large (18") Olaf plushes in Disney Stores recently?? I want to get an idea of whether or not they're still floating around somewhere other than ebay.

I have been told they are done, since they usually only stock large core plush during the holidays. Plus, they have finally introduced the medium core Olaf, which is probably the permanent replacement.

Still hoping to find any good frozen merch before my coupon expires.. I'll be pretty sad if it expires and nothing is in stores.

Still on the hunt for singing dolls, although, I doubt there would be a Kristoff singing doll as I don't even remember him singing in the movie and I've seen it about 10 times now. A connectable Hans/Anna singing doll would be awesome for "Love is an open door" or an Anna/Elsa for "The First In Forever (Reprise)"

I'm not a fan of any of Mattels stuff at all.. They look so.. Vacant.

Also, just a random question that I've wondered: why do all of the disney dolls always look off to one side? hahaha

he sang in the barn thing after getting kicked out of the shop where anna bought her clothes. that's the only time.

or they could do the "fixer upper" song for him. that would be kind of cool.

Guess it's just a Disney trademark for their dolls, since none of them looks straight - which I actually like, for me it makes them look more natural, but others don't like it.

I definately forgot about 'Reindeer are better than people"

Oops :(

Oh, I see! I just kept noticing this when I went to my disney store and all the classic dolls were looking off to one side same with the LE's

I'm.. Alright with it. So long as it doesn't make them look off.. Like it did with my Classic Elsa. One eye is looking to the right while the other is looking a bit higher up and to the right

Haha, that's how many/most US stores have looked since Christmas (except maybe in the big metropolitan stores)! On the doll pick-up/Blu-Ray release day, there were so many people in the store I went to, and the Frozen display was so miniscule, that I couldn't even find it! It was quite sad ...

I went to Meadowhall just after Christmas and all they had were the childrens clothes and an art set!! It sucks so much that everything is just selling out so fast :(

It is getting a bit sad not seeing any Frozen Merchandise anywhere. I was hoping by this point they would have all the old merchandise, and new stuff that I could buy. There is so many things the could produce of Frozen that I would love to get. (I want to where Frozen everywhere: hat, shirts, pants, socks, watches, jewelry…) So much potential we could be seeing by now...

I went to my local Disney Store and aside from the sparse section on children's clothes, and Anna Mugs, the only new thing the had was the Hula Olaf. Olaf was the highlight of the day though, he is adorable. He even come with a double sided sticky so you could put him on your dash…:hs:

Has anyone seen any more of the Animator Elsa dolls? Both of my closest Disney stores only have Anna and Kristoff - both of whom I already have - but no Elsa! In fact, I think I've only seen her once since Frozen released in theaters. I wish I had snatched her up when they restocked online, but I foolishly assumed that no one would be snatching these up and scalping them on ebay! I really need to starting paying more attention to when Disney is releasing things.

I think you answered your own question here.

Disney artists don't design any humans that look straight ahead because it creates a vacant expression. If you look at a doll that is looking straight foward, you see nothing, no expression nor character, because you know they're not looking at you. But a sideways glance evokes mystery and intrigue.

Another reason, which has been addressed in this thread before, is the fact that almond-shaped eyes, like Anna's and Elsa's, lend themselves to look cross-eyed if looking straight ahead or if improperly drawn. This is Mattel's problem - their product designers don't know how to deal with this. Disney character designers do.

I'm so so so mad at my play direct right now. They are seriously the worst company I've had to deal with.

Your product is coming out next month, how the hell do you not know the release date? Idiots T_T

So I don't know if people know this or not, but the guy(Steve Thompson) who drew the Designer Princesses released an image of Elsa that looks a lot like them.
So this is what Elsa's art would look like if it was released :)

Oh great, Anna and Elsa Designer Princesses, just the type of fire we need to throw on this party. Can you imagine!
