I do believe that it is the 4th now moreso than later tonight especially if it has been mentioned to be the date by SK. I didn't see the statement on the SK tumblr page but it could be on their twitter or website but if it from Stitch Kingdom then that is a very strong likelihood that that is correct as SK has never lead us astray in relation to Disney related information.

It is a Pixar movie and I believe most if not all the popular Pixar movies have had sequels made for them, even Cars which I think could have gone with just leaving it at the Cars, the sequel was completely unnecessary. I think the only Disney Pixar movie to not have a sequel planned for it is Wall-E all the others have a sequel planned or one already made so Brave should be getting one which if it does Merida will be the first Disney Princess to have two movies released theatrically. All other princesses have only had straight to dvd releases for their sequels.

I also agree with your premise for the second movie, yes everyone likes the way that Merida didnt have a partner and yes she is strong willed and she can still have a happily ever after without having a partner but really it would be nice if she did have a partner or just a male sidekick let's face it women can still be strong and independent and still have a partner, I mean if men can do it then women can too and it doesnt make her look weak or dependent just because she has a "prince". To be honest it would be cool if Merida was to be the one to save the "prince" you know really pushing the whole Merida can take care of herself so much so that she is the one that goes out saves the "prince" besides dont opposites usually attact? Maybe her partner will be the complete opposite instead of having another well built prince they could have a more "realistic" prince haha. To be honest that does sound like a rom-com so maybe it wouldnt be a good idea for a premise for the movie....sounds very 10 things I hate about you haha.

Yeah I have both but I usually check Tumblr over twitter coz im not a real fan of twitter haha.

But thanks for sharing that, I was pretty confident it would be a preorder but the date was uncertain. Isnt it a little weird though that they do a preorder for a release expected in like two week? Surely the dolls will be coming out late November to coincide with the release of the movie. I just dont understand why they still bothered with a preorder instead of just releasing it? Especially when it is this close. I mean I would understand if it was about a month or two to go before the release but this is about two and a bit weeks. Just seems pointless really...

Awesome, thanks. Sometimes I read too fast. I didn't even see the quotation marks. Thank you for the heads up. I'm still staying up tonight since it's almost midnight, but I'm not as nervous anymore.
 

Maybe it's their way of processing some stuff before the craziest shopping weekend of the year (the Frozen movie release weekend). They could charge them and ship them out before black Friday hits. By making it a pre-order, they can buy themselves some processing time. It could be a smart operational strategy...I guess we'll see how it all plays out.

That is a very good point, I guess it does save up on the processing time during black Friday. Oh well at least we have something more solid to work off now. I think that is maybe why on Facebook people were saying that the dolls were being released on Nov 20, that may be the day the dolls are released for distribution with the preorders being next week? Either way looking forward to next Monday now.

I wish it wasn't a pre-order. I too don't really see a point since they'll probably release it about the time the movie comes out. I'm planning on going to my store to get them and it would be nice to just be able to bring them home that day like I did with DFDC Ariel and Eric.

When SK mentioned the animators dolls- According to Stitch Kingdom, "Word is the pre-order for the Anna and Elsa limited edition dolls will be November 4. Animator dolls won't be until late November too." What does that mean? The frozen animators dolls have already hit the shelves havent they?

For the pre-order does the money come out of your credit card automatically? (automagically)
Does the full amount have to be on the card at the time of the pre-order?
 

I think the Anna and Elsa dolls are considered something like toddler dolls, because they have different packaging...
technically speaking they are not part of that collection, YET.

Much like the older Merida doll when Brave came out, they now discontinued that doll, and created a new Animator doll for her.

I cannot say for sure if they did make animator dolls for Anna and Elsa yet, I don't think that would make much sense... seeing that they would pretty much look just like the dolls they released already... maybe they have made them in the adventure outfits? (anna with cape, elsa blue dress) who knows...

Hi Jenna, I actually answered this question in the LE informative thread because it was a very common question. Yes Disney does take a hold on your card for the amount at the time of preorder and then changes this hold to a charge when the item is ready to ship. The important thing to note is that it is up to your bank to allow the hold to be retained should you not have enough funds in the account as it is just a hold but that being said most banks will probably not allow it. To put simply nn general I just recommend that you treat a preorder like a normal order just make sure you have the funds in your credit card or account when you put the order through. If you want more detail you can read more about it in the informative thread.

Besides it is better to be safe than sorry. Hope this helps!

Yah some of the toddler dolls have already hit selves in some of the Disney Stores but not all stores have them yet. They are also not available online such as yet as well. That might be what SK meant by the toddler dolls not being available until late November, they might not be available online until late November.
