That's why there are Disney stores , they are the only place to buy original authentic Disney merchandise. Says it on the bag!

i did originally say next year but immediately changed it to say Dec 6 instead when I noticed my error. So you just have read my post during that slight gap between my edit and only replied about it now?

this is the same train of thought I have in relation to the matter. But with Disney I guess anything is possible even if it doesn't makes sense and literally even defies their own branding and marketing strategies.

Harrods have a Disney Store. They wouldn't be paying them to sell the dolls.

Wait so is Harrods selling the doll set or is it a Disney store located in Harrods that is selling the doll set? I always though Harrods was like a department/boutique store more than a shopping mall. But I have no idea never been there so just going off memory.
 
Aaah so there is a Disney store in Harrods , my apologies to anyone who thought I was saying they weren't telling the truth, that has only been a recent set up I've been told. I work for Disney and wasn't even aware. And Harrods was only recent put on the store locator.but the only thing I question is £500! Lol
 


Harrods is a department store but they also have lots of concessions like Dior and Topshop.
 
What my bosses told me Harrods did sell Disney merchandise but it wasn't a official Disney store. But it did well there and and that's why there is now a official Disney store now

I can't believe I'm even going to bother investigating how this happened but since you are asking, it seems I read the quote by you from another persons post and I could not be bothered to reread the original as I was reading posts backwards, at that time I felt genuine worry and looked up the release date and found the situation humorous (not your error, my reaction) and commented on it, my goodness no I did not lie awake at night thinking about it remember to post the next day. I'm sorry if I offended you, I did say 'haha' at the end of my post to indicate it was light-hearted and I was laughing at myself not at the mistake

According to a friend of mine that used to work for Harrod's in London, they make deals with all brands to be able to sell their exclusive packaged merchandise. According to her, it really doesn't mean that the merchandise is any better than the original merchandise. They change it slightly and then put the Harrod's name on the packaging and people buy it at ridiculous prices ... just because of the Harrod's name on it.

To quote one of the most famous designers that ever lived (Coco Chanel), sometimes "Less is More". I agree with MountedArcherPrincess. I prefer the simplicity to the sparkly, as well. (Just my humble opinion)

I don't know the value of that information, but I read, the LE 100 Will be sold at an event at Harrods ( a presentation etc ) on invitation only.
 
All the reviews are coming out today it seems. Variety and The Hollywood Reporter also released their reviews.

While the praise isn't as high as Yahoo's (Variety explicitly states neither princess comes even close to Rapunzel) and THR and Variety believe it to be one of the Disney's finest, just not close to the all time classics, they both agree that Olaf is the start of the movie moreso than anyone else O_O Perhaps Disney was onto something with their intense Olaf marketing <_<

Someone from the facebook group called harrods and confirmed the price at 500 GBP. It would be nice to have some official pictures and confirmation though.

Reviews look good; I'm already spoiled, but those that aren't should avoid them as they give away a plot twist.
 
ahhhhhhh i think its getting close to the time where i need to stay away from the internet............. so afraid of seeing spoilers :|

the whole of brave was spoilt for me so im hoping this wont be haha
