Frozen Holiday Premium Package Pin?
Did anyone enjoy the Dessert Party?? What kind of "Yummies" were there? Was there enough seating to enjoy the Osborne Lights show??

There was no real "seating area" for the viewing as far as we were told. The seating area was the table setup right outside of Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground and was intended for eating. It had limited views of the lights, to say the least. As far as desserts go, there were mini cupcakes with A&E chocolates on top, assorted berries with whipped cream, standard Disney buffet restaurant staples like mini lemon tarts and mini cheesecakes, 4 different kinds of ice cream bars (choc banana, some fruit one, mickey bar, and some other ice cream based bar), mini rice krispie treats, and covered marshmallows in the shape of Olaf. Probably decent fare if you hadn't just spent 11 days eating exactly those things on the dining plan, as we had. For drinks they had a tea/coffee setup, hot chocolate, soda, water, something that resembled the tropical juice at Ohana breakfast, apple juice, and three alcoholic drinks. Kristoff's was coconut/pineapple/marshmallow, Southern Isles was bourbon/cider/caramel, and Peppermint Sauna was Baileys/hot chocolate/white chocolate.

OT - I did the VIP SWW package on the first day. I got ill and did not make it back for the dessert party and fireworks. Can some one describe what I missed? For $499, I had expected at least a pin, but got nothing. :(

My boys and I did the dessert party on the 11th! My husband had to take my daughter back to our room because she was too tired :( so it was just 3 of us at the party. I was expecting to feel like it was a waste of money but I was actually very impressed! I took a ton of pics that I will hopefully be able to post later today. The way it was described as a place to "view the lights" didn't make sense to me because anyone who's been there knows you have to walk through to see the lights, but you are right there surrounded by the lights and music while you have your desserts so they are more like a backdrop to your dessert eating, if that makes sense. We still walked through the lights before the party but then continued to enjoy them during our desserts. Then we got more hot chocolate to go and walked around the lights again. I actually enjoyed this more than MVMCP and felt that it was a better value.

ETA: I guess I can't really say "better value" since it didn't include park admission like MVMCP, but the dessert party felt like more of a special Christmas event to me.

We went to this event while at Hollywood Studios last Tuesday. The package also included reserved (front row) seating for the "Frozen Sing Along" show. In my book, tickets to this was money well spent. My daughter is ADDICTED to Frozen like many other little girls, so she was VERY excited. We got three of the "Limited Release" pin/lithograph sets. I read that perhaps 10,000 of these sets were made, but I saw the set selling on EBay for $75 this morning. It is a nice pin, but I like my limited edition Contemporary Resort 2014 snowflake pin better. The snow flake pin is one of 750.

They are going for varying prices, $30-100, very odd, lol. I anticipate the prices to lower

Maybe the original set-up next to Playground was there because of a chance of rain that night OR maybe Disney moved it after complaints but, this past Saturday (11/29), the tables were set up at the end of the Street under the Globe behind the fencing for the Back Lot tour train. GREAT VIEW & lots of tables.
