whatever happened to paying cost plus shipping for pins? Some of us little guys can't pay those prices Am just asking. seems this hobby is getting way to expensive for most people. Done the vent

I think a lot of it is driven from 3rd party sites and people making up prices. I've seen people on 3rd party sites sell these pins for insanely high prices only to relist it again a week later at an even higher price. It seems like people are driving the market up and I guarantee no one is paying these crazy prices because the sales are fake. However. As much as I would love to pay cost plus shipping I understand people think the item they are selling is valued at a much higher price due to these sites. Another one I've seen is the up marquee a seller had it sell for 2k and relisted it a month later for 1200 buy now best offer. If the guy really got 2k for the pin why would he sell another for 800 less and be willing to entertain offers? It's insanity and unfair but it is what it is. My girls love the way these pins look and we don't have any highly valued pins so I'm stuck paying way more than I want. At the cost of some if my baseball equipment which I'm selling for these hahah

If you're willing to pay that much, they're going for that much on ebay (last I checked). I think a few members here are ebay sellers, but it may be hard to reach them here so ebay-message them?

Well I was looking to pay 400 for both pins. It looks like no one is selling the stained glass on eBay for less than around 375-450. None have sold at that price but people keep listing that high. I paid a little higher for the marquee than I had hoped for but the kiddies and I both wanted it. I think me more than them but whose keeping track :)

Ah. I thought since you had updated that you had gotten the marquee, that you were willing to pay $400 for the stained glass pin. I think the prices are high (and keep going higher) is because it last sold for $330? and so the rest of the sellers are trying to outsell / make the most profit possible than the last seller.
