Frozen pin?

I like the "I don't care" choice. I think it is a nice pin, and I would keep it if someone gave it to me, but I don't really see how it matters either way. If you want it for your Frozen collection, great, get it. If you don't want it for your Frozen collection, great, don't get it. If you want it just because you like it, great, get it. If you don't want it because you don't like it, great, don't get it.

Love how you explain this in such detail, LOL!

My vote is similar to what JayLeeJay said: A person's pin collection is personal. We all create our collections around the pins we like and try to add pins we like to the collection. When we display our collections, the way we group them may spark ideas in others that view that collection, leading them to appreciate the pins more. If I had a Frozen pin collection, I think this pin might add something to the collection for being in it. I think the card suggests it is linked to Frozen in some way. I would count it as a Frozen pin myself.

I voted for "I don't care" because personally I don't care.

Being titled as a completest in any collection does not remotely interest me. I don't feel it makes me any less of a fan of the movie/character just because I don't have the circumstances or opportunity to collect every pin remotely related to it.

This is not of course mean anything negative towards those who are completist- if you have the means to be one then that's awesome! But for me, it would just suck the joy out of pin collecting if I tried. So whether or not it's a frozen pin... it just doesn't matter in my pin universe.

I already know I'm going to be met with quite a bit of disappointment when it comes to collecting Frozen even without aspiring to be a completest. So I'm glad to write this pin off and save myself a potential headache

Having said all of this, the backer card makes it clear disney associates this pin with Frozen. So if you do care, those are the facts.

I voted yes it should be considered a Frozen pin. I don't collect Frozen and this way there are more pins for those that do and maybe they will leave the ones I want alone. Lol

I voted no. But really it depends on what you think. Get it or don't get it, got it? I liked JayLeeLay's get it or don't get it post.

I voted "Dont care" because I think it is a pretty pin, but to me it is not worth the money it is currently going for..so unless it becomes cheaper im pretending it doesnt exist

I voted yes because it comes on an Olaf backer card so obviously Disney considers it to be a Frozen pin. However, if there was a 'Yes, but I don't care' option, I would have selected that *lol* Like others stated, collections are a personal thing. If you personally consider it a Frozen pin and needneedneed it in order to retain your completest status, then get it. If not, then don't. The world will keep spinning, most likely, either way.

I said yes, first because, if it would not have been meant to be a Frozen pin, Disney would not have released the rights to the Frozen images for the backer card; second, the smaller snowflakes in the background, I agree, make me also think of the beginning of the movie! However, if it had just been release on a plain old black card, I don't know if I would still feel as strongly, while the snowflakes do RESEMBLE the ones in the beginning of the movie, I don't feel that resemblance is enough alone to make it a Frozen pin. JMO

as stated in that other thread that got closed..... It is a frozen pin.

Take a look at the BACKGROUND snow flakes in the pin, look close please. The best view is the one in the 4-5 oclock, and again at the 7-8 oclock positions. there are very specific "spikes" on the primary Tips, and very clear Diamond shapes on the other tips, that match the snowflake from elsa's Castle. the other snowflakes in the background are also patterns seen in the movie multiple times, especially at the beginning of the movie.

the snow flake in question:

a still of the snowflake in the ice castle:

Do I wish it was not a frozen pin? yes. Because I was going for "complete" status on Frozen and this pin might just make that status hell. lol

I voted yes. it is a frozen pin. There are just to many similarities for the snowflakes.

I voted yes to this because I had started to collect Frozen pins and this would be another pin I can't get.
Everyone knows you always want what you can't have!
There is a pin listed under Mulan pins only because it has a picture of her on the box, so why not?

Yes, it is a Frozen pin. In my opinion it isn't worth the price it's at currently, but I don't think anyone can deny it's authenticity I would love to have it in my collection but it's imagery is not as on-point for me to think of it as worth the money. (Kind of a redundant statement but ya get the idea haha)
