GSF December Pin Flier release
I thought Saving Mr. Banks was having a one week limited engagement at the El Capitan so I was hopeful for a marquee.
 
No, Frozen is there until Jan 5th. But I think there will be at least 4 marquees in the first 2 months of 2014:

Marry Poppins (Jan 10 - Jan 20)
(something? nothing on the schedule from the 21st until Feb 7th)
Lady & the Tramp on Feb 7th
The Wind Rises on Feb 21st (They better do this one!)
(something between Wind Rises and Muppets)
Then the new Muppet move on March 21st.

I am kind of surprised they don't have Mr. Banks at least sharing with Frozen (like every other show or every other day or something...)

The reason for the Friday the 20th release is because GSF has character breakfast on Saturday and even a 6am pin release would have overlapped with the breakfast. Trying to do a pin release after the breakfast at 10am would have impacted normal street traffic and the people coming out of the first show.

Disney has a special engagement of Mr Banks playing at the Walt Disney Studio
 
Not too happy with December releases. I guess the December Jessica calendar will come out on Dec 20. Bummer for me since I am not going to that release. Let's hope that 2014 brings better pins.

Well to be honest I was hoping maybe for some different characters for once. But that's a long shot I know.
 
That whole release screams "meh". I liked the Vanellope and I was lucky that someone got it for me at cost, probably because they weren't that popular anyway. Still have to get it in the mail though and I'm probably going to trade it away because I'm already sick of it lol. I don't know, they aren't that dynamic. Especially the three lower pins, they're so static.
