I've made myself a few themed lanyards for my collections, trying to pull themes from the movies to really make them easy to recognize.
Sometimes I succeed, sometimes not. See if you can guess what movies these are! ; )

I try and make my lanyards comfortable, reinforcing them with stabilizer so they hold their shape despite the weight of pins, and so they can also withstand going through the wash if they get clam chowder or sunscreen on them. They're mostly all made with cotton, faux fur, and vinyl, from patterns I draft myself. I will also confess, sometimes I make them extra blingy to make up for the fact I (initially!) didn't have lots of the various themed pins. My UP! lanyard especially; I only had 3-4 pins I really liked at first, so I went hog wild making all the knobs and dodads on Dug's collar to make up for it.
Thanks for looking!
