Hi guys,
I know that Scoop hangs out in the Magic Kingdom, on Main Street, but I was wondering if he had specific times, or a place where I should look for him. I'll be there with my WHOLE family, and want my nephews and niece (who are just getting into pin trading) to meet him... and I want to meet him, too! Should I send an e-mail to guest relations? We are only going three days, one park per day, and I want to be sure that the day we go to the Magic Kingdom is a day that he'll be there. Thanks in advance!

I usually find Scoop on Mondays around 10 am near the theater. You can also ask the costumed CMs - the characters of Main Street - ; they have been the most reliable information. Asking Guest Relations and retail CMs was a waste of time and effort for me.
 
Scoop comes out about 45 mins past the hour and usually performs for 15 mins and then trades for 15 mins. Then he goes backstage. He does that in the mornings for a few hours. He's around most days but not every day so you should check with the Mayor, Smokey, etc. if you dont see him. He usually sings with the Sax band or the Dapper Dans and then trades.
 
As of January 29th, 2012 Scoop is there Sundays and Wednesdays at 845, 945, 1045, and 1145. Days may change. You can find him in the middle of main st. (See pics below). Schedule may change, you can always check with guest relations at the park (They call and check). You can also ask the other Main St. characters, like the mayor or the fire chief (Everytime I went to MK I asked. He was there 1 out of the 4 days I went to the Magic Kingdom. If you want to save yourself the time and wait, make sure you check with guest relations :)

Make sure you ask Scoop for his special pin and to autograph it.

I didn't, but I also didn't trade with cast members (Not sure if that's where they are at). Now that I think about it, I only traded with a couple of traders....
