Help with PODM Please!
I know this is a long shot, but I'm hoping I can find a kind person who lives near the parks and can help me with purchasing Lion King PODM pins. The problem is that I need two, and I'm looking for specific characters- one with Timone and Pumba, and one with Nala. Or alternatively three pins if Timone and Pumba are not on a pin together. These pins would actually be for my sister and her bf-- they live in DC and I live in MA so we really have no way of purchasing these pins off ebay.
I'm hoping some kind person can offer to help me find these at a reasonable (ie, less than double the original) price? I don't even want to talk about how much my sister spent to get a good Tangled scene off ebay.
I don't have any traders available, so I'd only be able to purchase these, which I know is a downside. It's hard getting into trading when you don't live by a park and the disney store online has such lousy offerings! I can't justify spending ebay prices on a trader, so pin trading isn't something I do right now. But I understand that this is primarily a trading forum, so I know I'm not the first person anyone with an extra pin would go to.
I don't know if there will be any exclusive pins here, but I will be attending this event: http://d23.disney.go.com/events/2012/03/19/d23s-epcot-30th-anniversary-celebration/ and if they do have exclusive pins there (they mention exclusive D23 merchandise), I'd be willing to try to help someone with that as a reciprocal favor down the line?
