Agreed, must be a scrapper especially if the metal isn't perfectly cut. If you can see brush strokes then something must be up as well.
 
Well, I have some DS.com pins I bought DIRECTLY from Disney Store. There were rough edges and bad brush strokes. It could be a scrapper or just poor quality control.

That sucks. Quality control needs to step it up; its sad if we can't tell a real pin from a scrapper/fake, and its NOT because the fake looks good; this is because the real one looks as bad a a fake!
