I am having an issue that I need advise over and I sent a message to grim yesterday..I am trying to wait patiently for a response but it's involving a transaction that has quite a bit of money tied up...so I am nervous :(

I second Echo's comment... MOD's monitor and address issues when they are able too... Sometimes as with ourselves Life gets in the way and it may take a couple days... Unfortunatly Grim is very busy with work and schooling and I believe the Stef (Dancecats) is out of the country... The other MOD's rarely deal with these types of issues as they focus on the support of the site itself... But it will be addressed as they always do their best to resolve everybody's issues...

It will be a while. If you paid via PayPal credit card/goods, make sure your time doesn't run out to file a dispute.

The two admins are Bricklayer and Cicada in case you want to try sending them a note. They've both helped me in the past, though sometimes, like Moe and I said, it can take a while to hear back. All the mods/admins are busy with school/work/family stuff, as we all are!

Not a mod here but if you wanna pm me i can get it to a mod in the private area where we chat about forum stuff,Bryan will see it then.

Both Judy and I also make the mods aware of (potential) issues we see in threads...but we don't always have time to read every thread :(

Yeah Grim is currently working 14 hour shifts at a restaurant in New York City. So it may be a long while before he can respond.

Hi I've kept in contact with you and will send you your dc number sometime today :) it takes me a bit to send out packages! Often times a little over a week. Sorry about the delay! I'll message you later tonight

Hi Mark
I am getting those PM's as well....and Karina, yes please send the DC# and I responded to your trade request earlier as well

I keep getting DPF notifications of PM's but they are old PM's, like a week old. But it resends them. Weird. If it keeps up I'll have to bug them too.

Same here! That's also why I missed some of their pms :( Not to mention finals and then my school was on lock down yesterday because of an armed suspect @_@ I was stuck in an office on campus until 11:30 last night;;

Jon (Brick) is busy with the holidays as well as tending to his pregnant wife -- Stef is out of the country at the moment and Grim is on hiatus with school and work.

I try to check in every day, and our correspondents Judy and Steve have been very helpful in addressing concerns and getting them to myself.

As we try to have a fair look at issues, we address concerns in a "council" or round table type discussion where everyone is involved. Without the rest of the team here at the moment, I've been swamped with trying to address the issues that require our attention myself. I apologize if it takes a while to respond.

We are currently trying to get more members on the the team to assist in Corrspondence and Moderating to address this issue.

Also note that often, we cannot resolve sales issues since it is an issue with paypal and the buyer/seller relationship. We cannot force anyone to do anything; only issue infractions that may result in temporary or permanent bannings from the forum.

In extreme cases we have opened up private disputes in a private forum for sellers and buyers to discuss an issue directly in a private, moderated discussion -- this method has been mostly successful thus far.

Hi. Having a similar problem with admin. Maybe someone here can tell me how to take care of my little issue. I would like to change my name from Lady Wolf to Dizzypins, which is my pin pics name. Is there a problem with this?

I'll do the name change right now :)

I just got back from Punta Cana tonight. While it might take me a few days to get caught up with my PMs, if you still require assistance with this situation, go ahead and send me a message. While I won't be home until early 2013, I have my iPad and (crosses fingers) internet access with my laptop so I will be able to receive and respond to messages.

The first had to do with a possible objectionable picture in another members signature.
The second was wondering if we could inform DPF members through a post on the board of auctions we are running on eBay. I periodically do auctions where I start the pins at $.99 and I'd love for DPF members to be able to get pins at a possible cheap price.

Jeff I know the 2nd part you mentioned about auctions cannot be posted here on DPF!as thats against per DPF sales rule"NO EBAY links allowed"!!as for the objectible members siggy,PM me and let me know who that is and I can direct that to a MOD myself as Steve and I keep an eye out for certain things and if a siggy is not appropiate we can share it with the other Mods,

Judy
