How Should Disney Do Major Pin Releases?
First come Bro! If you want to camp out for 2 days for a pin.. you DESERVE them!

EXACTLY! If someone wants to wait, or waste, depending on your views for two days SO BE IT! I spent countless hours waiting for pins for years at DL; it's half the fun! I wish they'd allow it again (I mean, create pins worth waiting for!)

If Disney chose a Thunderdome theme then might Tina Turner could sign all the pins of those who survived

How about another option -- Half of all releases are done via RSP online - and then the winners are billed directly and sent their pins; No waiting, environmentally friendly (no driving/flying/boating into LA at strange hours - there are already too many gridlock experiences there!). That works for all of us that are not within striking distance of a Disney Park.

Though maybe a cross-country race involving electric wheelchairs would be a cool way to resolve this too. IN fact lets include it.

9) Cross-Country electric wheelchair race.

I recommend the Wilderness obstacle course over at DCA if you wanted a "road race" style event.

But another option would be the Robin Hood / Little John quarter staff duel or for those fortunate enough to be at the old Disney Quest / Chicago they could bring back the "bumper cars" that fired nurf balls that you could run over to reload.

I wasn't a big fan of the wrist band / online sign up they used for the Gingerbread Mystery set last October. But that was mainly due to them moving the location where you checked in to pick up the wristbands seemingly at the last moment.
